View Full Version : Nuriko Wrist BAnds??

Well I am needing help on finding the braclets that Nuriko wears when he dies. The ones that Titskoon (cant spell for my life) made for him, that gave him like super strenth. I was wondering if anyone new where I could find these or even how to make them. I have an idea how to make them by hand, but that would take me all year, plus, me with blow tourch= having too much fun.

Well thanks for giving me any informations about where I can get this item. I really appricate it. :skidude2:

That sounds like a fun project... Do you have any good reference pictures of them? I might have a better idea how to help you if I could see some.

I've seen people make them out of plastic cups before so that's an idea to try ^^ll

COD -- please edit your first post. Nuriko uses the bands more often than that episode, so please.. don't give it away for those that don't know about what happens in episode 33. ~_~

Ah so... made mine out of vinyl *nodnod*

If you wanted the un transformed ones, buy some old bracelets at a thrift store or from wal-mart and paint them.

But yeah, make the gauntlets from vinyl and velcro... *nodnod*

edit: LOL! Hikaruchan.... that's my costume. Just not me... mad props yo.

Welp. I got bored this weekend so I decided to go ahead and make some Nuriko gauntlets using my 'foam and plastic sheeting' method. They look a bit rough, since I'm still in the process of painting them, but here you can get a good idea of what I'm trying to accomplish.

Amount of estimated time spent of them thus far: about 7 hours. Yowza. (They're not as simple as they look. Or else my method just isn't a very easy one....)

Schu: Gorgeous Nuriko costume, btw....

Here's what they look like, all finished.

What am I gonna do with 'em? Sell 'em, (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1345&item=3218396418&rd=1) baby! Yeah! Momma needs a new pair of pinking shears...
