Hi, my Deutch is not very good, and my girlfriend and I will be going to London in the Spring, and definitely wanted to go to Germany, especially for a convention. We saw this one, but need some help with translation (location, registration and such). Can anyone help? We'd be very grateful!

Danke!

Allright, I took a look at the website: Anime Marathon will take place in Erkner near Berlin, from 27.-29. of april. There is a registration page http://anmeldung.tomodachi.de:8080/!am_anmeldung/Anmeldung.gmh but maybe it would be easier for you to send an email to marathon@tomodachi.de

I'm pretty sure you can write in english, at least it should be that way... Good luck!

Thank you so much! It's been too many years since I took high school German, and was worried about translating it badly!

Thanks again! ~Ritsuko

Welcome to german zone ! I'm sure the most users are able to write or read english texts.

To prevent you from disappointment let me tell you, not to go to Anime Marathon. The AM - in my humble opinion - isn't a typical german convention. Anime Marathon is a small event for visitors who are interested in watching anime movies, but not for cosplayers or photographers.

It may be better for you to spend your time at "Book Convention Leipzig" (http://www.buchmesse-leipzig.de) or "Hanami" (http://www.hanami-ludwigshafen.de) , a nice convention in Ludwigshafen. Watchout the hyperlinks and get more informations to those events. Especially Leipzig is much cheaper to spend a few days, than going to Anime Marathon.

What ever you do, have fun and enjoy your days in Germany.
Kind regards Jurai :skidude2:

Thanks so much for the input! I have tried to contact Anime Marathon with no word back. >.< So I am thinking of looking into Hanami. Would you say there are alot of cosplayers? We really just want to go meet other cosplayers. . . thanks a bunch!

We're actually not in Europe yet, we'll only be there April 6th-June 22nd.
