I'm planning on doing a cosplay with a friend of mine for anime evolution in burnaby B.C. and we're planning on doing ikkaku and yumichika from the series bleach but I have no idea how to construct thier outfits (shihakusho) and I'm wondering if anyone has or knows where I can get patterns for them.

the pants they where are called hamaka and you can get the pattern here http://roundearth.stores.yahoo.net/hakformarar.html .
the top is black kimono top with a white under kimono (juban).
the pattern for the full out fit can be found here http://www.sewingcentral.com/cgi-bin/Web_store/web_store.cgi?page=ccj01m.html&cart_id=5980737_1110

The great thing is my friend got his head shaved in college and he's gonna do it again for the cosplay and I'm making him work out with me so that we can fit the body types. I told him that he was going to have to walk arond without the top half like in bankai form for at least one day. :toothy:

Ahhh... you're such a tease. Ikkaku's bankai gets me squirming... Can't wait to see it :D

Well I'm not doing the bankai form but I'm gonna make Houzukimaru in shikai form and I think I have a plan to be able to make it seperate into it's segments. I gotta try to figure out how to do yumichika's shikai but somehow I don't think that will happen.
