And I already finished Lelouch and Euphemia street wear costumes.

This year or early next year I plan to make either Mao (gotta cosplay him, it'd be so fun!) OR Hot-Chinese-Guy-From-The-Last-Ep. I'll wait til the guy turns around in July and gets a personality before I choose. ^_~

Right now I'm working on Lloyd for a friend for AX... and altering something hoping it will become a Schneizel one day (we shall see!)

oh, and currently waiting for my white wig to come in so i can color it and actually have a proper hair color for CC

I have started Prince Clovis and I have been looking into Schneizel and Mao's designs.

We have a somewhat Large group going to a convention in September
[the Group being: Lelouch, Shirley, C.C, Karen, Clovis and maybe Euphie, Suzaku and Cornelia]

Not sure when I'll be doing it, but Euphie's gown that she wears later on is one I'm planning on doing, hopefully soon.

...I'm on a ballgown kick.

I'm waiting for the second season to air before I make a decision on who to cosplay. The only character can I resemble in stature and height is Kaguya at the moment, but I really don't want to do a flowing kimono that might get stepped on throughout a convention.

Aw! That would be so cute!

If you've got the height of Kaguya, wouldn't be able to do Nunnally as well? I figured she was around the same height.

There's also Nina, that is, if you don't hate her passionately. There's also the maid, who looks like she might be somewhat important at some point?

I plan to eventually do a Suzaku outfit. I'm waiting until the new episodes come out, because I KNOW he's going to get a Geass, so I want to see where his Geass symbol will show up(I hope to God it isn't his right eye, because that would be cheap...Lelouch is on the rebellion side and has his Geass sigit in his left eye, Suzaku's on Britannia's side, and his sigit is in his right eye.....that would be a cop out).

DrugLordKai

Been debating trying to cosplay Tohdoh for Otakon...only problem is the guy doesn't really have a single consistent outfit to follow through on (as it stands, if this were to work, it'd either be his Japanese Liberation Army uniform or his suit when he joins the Order of the Black Knights.)

...also kind of trick since I'm pretty damned...well...non-Eleven (as it were)
(...oddly, the hair I think I've figured out easy enough.)

Truth be told, one of these days would love to go as Jeremiah...if only for the laughs.

me and my friends had a good idea but poorly executed code geass costume.

they did pizza hut delivery man with black knight head bands. then a week before the con I tried tossed together what was suppose to be a pizza hut delivery Knightmare.
I thought it looked ok then I saw the photo.:bigcry:
http://images.cosplay.com/gallery.php?cat=78227&member=31996

the sighs on the head read Black Knight Delivery on the back I had a sigh that read hows my driving call 000-ZERO

we may try this again and put some real effort into it. they got better headbands now

I'd like to cosplay Euphemia in her casual attire -- the username should've tipped you off, hehe. Maybe the ball gown, too.

It's funny, though, because I don't resemble in her in the slightest nor does the color pink compliment me. ^_^;; Oh, well.

Hey all! Just jumping in...

I have fallen in LOVE with Code Geass. From episode one I knew I had to do a CC cosplay! (not like she appears too much for a while after that...) That crazy straightjacket thing is too awesome. That said... I need help! First off, I need reference pictures. I've gone over to Animepaper.net and snagged as many preview-sized CCs as I can find, which is all well and good, but not many of the pictures show the entire outfit, and none of them really show how it ... well, works. So if anyone knows where I can find concept art... please help?

The second thing I need opinions on is the material. The material is slightly form fitting but still appears to be stiff, so evil evil stretchy material seems to be out (thank heavens.) What would you suggest? I want something strong, ESPECIALLY if I'm correct in assuming that those are two full length zippers from shoulders to feet.

I'd love to have this done for Anime USA, but I really need to STOP and think about finances. ;-;

momotaros + lomelindi88: ^__^ thankyou! Im glad you like my costume^^
Now about the helmet, it was made completely from scratch. Made from fiberglass
its a pretty long process, so Ill do my best to sum it up^^
First I covered my face with rubber then took it off in 2 pieces, put them together and filled it with concrete. and Ta-dah! you have a perfect replica of who's ever head the helmet will be for. After that you get some clay (non-sulfur base is best) and sculpt the design of the helmet. Try to make it as smoothe as possible (i used about 12 pounds worth of clay). After you are done with the sculpting cover it with silicone rubber [like before] take it apart in 2 pieces, but this time dont stick it back together. then fiberglass each piece like normally. after that put the 2 pieces together with a strip of fiberglass [maybe more then one strip] Then you sand [use body filler if needed], paint, clear and finished^^

Hope that helps and thanks again, im glad u like it^^

actually its called 'algilite', its the best to used for the face part, but silicone works too. I used silicone rubber for castinf the clay part.
it took about a month and 1/2 of on-and-off work during the weekend.
that means cut the rubber down the middle so u can remove it in two pieces. sorry, im not too good at explaining V___V xD

I'm going to be doing a Lelouch cosplay for Anime Supercon, the school uniform. I'll be going along with my friend, who's going to cosplay as Lloyd (eeee).

I'm thinking of just winging it with the jacket, since I haven't had much luck searching for a pattern to modify yet. If anyone knows of a good pattern to modify for the uniform, that would be so much help. D:

Just anything in general that involve brother taking care his little sister would work. Since Nunnally can't walk, so all the pose will be seated. You can do something like Lelouch wipping Nunally mouth while she's eating, or reading a book to her, etc. Just don't get any pic taken with she standing up or her eyes open then you're fine.

The con we went to was very packed and crowded, so when someone asked for a pic, we really couldn't sit anywhere. I'll wear her again someday, and hopefully I'll get it right. Thanks for the suggestions, though. =) Not to mention my eyes were open the whole time...major oops.

Next on my list is Euphemia-sama. Casual dress & princess dress. And, maybe C.C. much later.

Atashi
01-30-2008, 08:23 PM
It can be done and will look better than a girl cosplaying Lelouch, but the cosplay population tend to tilt toward girls to start with and Lelouch is very tall and thin. Not that many Asians are that tall, and not that many Caucasians are that thin. Tall and handsome men cosplaying are far and few between.

dreamoflife02

Probably the main reason you've never seen a guy cosplay him is because there are many, many more female than male cosplayers, and from what I've seen Code Geass is more popular among girls. There's no reason why you can't cosplay him if you want.

hmmm crap you're right, there is like...no male lulu at all!?(minus one or two and have to look hard for them.)
No my friend style the wig for me.

Even though I'm a Lulu crossplayer (hence a girl), I do have a guy friend who's a Lulu cosplayer. =) I've seen quite several guys cosplaying Lulu and Suzaku, but indeed they are rather hard to find. Understandably, the male characters (most especially those created by Clamp) have very feminine look, so they open wide doors to girls.

Code Geass is such a group cosplay; it pretty much only looks impressive if you have a group of people standing around looking regal.

Anyways, with the release of March issues of magazines, I see a ray of hope! Agna looks like she might be small enough that I can pull her off! (No sign of Kaguya... ._.)

I swear that I will cosplay Code Geass sometime, like during summer vacation or by Christmas this year. The costumes are too elegant to pass up.
Aw! That would be so cute!

If you've got the height of Kaguya, wouldn't be able to do Nunnally as well? I figured she was around the same height.

There's also Nina, that is, if you don't hate her passionately. There's also the maid, who looks like she might be somewhat important at some point?
If it's Nunnally, then I'd have to sit and act blind to be in character (or recognizable, probably). Nina is like...last resort. I don't hate her character, but she is of no interest to me.

Third time trying to post in this thread, my internet connection doesn't seem to want to let me.

ANYWHO. So, my group is planning R2 cosplay for SDCC and neko and I were trying to figure out what to use for the gold on Zero's suit/the trim and for CC's boots. We were hoping some of the Zero cosplayers here could point us to the right direction of fabric, besides just wandering Fabric District until we found something pretty, or if most people used paint or something. I seem to fail at finding gold that doesn't have a weird texture or has that nice sheen to it or isn't too much into the orange x.o Any help would be awesome.

anyway... I use gold pleather on all mine trim since it wont fray. Though you can also use Heat and Bond on regular gold fabric. Or you can be super hardcore and sew the trim between the fabric.

I would wear contacts yet they make me sick my eyes can't handle something touching them at this current time >< Though I was thinking mabey for day one of the con im going to where a casual outfit like a black dress shirt and black dress/ casual pants. The second day go as lelouch in his school uniform then for the last day due to my gfs love of the ep where he had painted on whiskers and cat ears just for her. My only fear is the crazy yaoi fan girls. Last time i went as Matt from Dn and my god i was dragged into a yaoi fan girl photo shot by my gf >< * relives traumotizing( can't spell today ><) moments * - shivers- I'm only afraid that the last day or any day I'll be forced into a yaoi fan shot with a sezaku ><

So, i've been wanting to cosplay Code Geass for...well....quite a few months now. (probably going on a yr. at this point. ever since i seen the designs in Cosmode) Then, all of a sudden, Adult Swim starts playing the anime and, even in my sleepy state, i jumped up and down. So it's high time I possibly make a costume.

Leaning towards CC right now, but want to crossplay Lelouch whenever i can. 2009 is my "ballgown" year (all my costumes will probably be ballgowns o.O) so i'm saving black formal CC and Euphemia until then. Hopefully 'straightjacket' CC can be done before Otakon.
Any pattern suggestions please?

which costumes patter you are looking for? for the jumpsuit I use jumpsuit patter from the costumes section of the pattern and make it tight and fit me. As for the gown, you can probably find the almost exact pattern from historian costume section of the pattern.

Also, for those that made the male school uniform: How did you construct the front? If you can give me a sec, Megumi, I can scan the design sketches from my Graphics Ashford poster.

The front is indeed a separate piece, though, and it's held on with the two buttons as well as snaps (and I was disgusting happy to find out that my theory was right XD).

I hope this is the right place to post this, but I'm having a tone of trouble finding a pattern close enough to Anya's vest:
http://pics.livejournal.com/nativegirl/pic/000eyr4x

I've tried searching on sewingpatterns.com for both waistcoats and halter shirt dresses... neither of which are good enough (the shirt dresses have separate skirts, and Anya's is a continuous piece, whereas none of the vests are halter tops).

any suggestions? ^^;

Kuro Yue
06-01-2008, 05:35 AM
I'm sorely, sorely tempted to suggest drafting it yourself. . .Just because that's my answer to every hard pattern question.

I think that the best option is a waistcoat - you could tailor the pattern to yourself, and then heavily modify it so that it would include that giant hole of doom. Either that, or find a way to combine an actual dress pattern with a waistcoat.

But I think that no matter what you go with, there is going to be a LOT of modification.

Nativegirl
06-01-2008, 08:05 AM
I think I actually am going to draft it myself... I'm not terribly experienced, but I passed geometry? :p It doesn't look too complicated, and I've drafted a pattern before. I'll just do a smaller mockup before I do the big thing.

Thanks!

Hiiii!! Um... Don't kill me, but I've never seen Code Geass (yet) so I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about, but here goes:

My friend wants to do a um... Suzaku? cosplay for Otakon. She wants to do the school uniform (the black one). It's her first cosplay and I've offered to help her with the basics. Now because it's her first cosplay, and I really don't have enough time to make two between now and Otakon (I have barely started my own), I figured we'd use stuff that we can buy in stores and work off that.

I've skimmed over the first 10 pages, and I found the wonderful picture of the school uniform sketch, as well as the image of the symbol on the collar. But it seems, from what I can gather, that everyone's been making them from scratch or through a pattern.... And I know my friend's uncomfortable with using a pattern at this time.

Soooo, Code Geass cosplayers, I turn to you for help. And thank you in advance.

Animate Japan is selling FULL costumes sets for R2 Zero and Knight Suzaku (http://www.animate-costume.jp/feature/codegeass/top.html) for only $85 per set, and as expected, they were swamped with so many orders that they have now postponed the release date from July 4 to indefinitely. >_> I was really excited about this because Animate has at least a semi-official license to make and sell the goods, so they should be of high quality and good fit (as opposed to questionable Chinese eBay sellers).

I'm really hoping that Animate will put up the Ashford Academy uniforms for sale in the future, at $68 each like with the Vampire Knight uniforms they're selling (http://www.animate-costume.jp/feature/vampire-knight/top.html).

You have no idea how long I stared at pics of Code Geass to get an idea of how to do it. XD

From what I observed the top is 2 pieces. what keeps it together is the two buttons at top, 2 snaps and the belt. The front part of the top with all the designs is what comes off. There are 3 belt loops, two small ones in front, one big one in the back.
I'll edit some pics and such of my observations when I have a chance and post them here.

Ok did some. Hopefully the will help explain what I was talking about.

By any chance would you know if there's a jog suit or regular suit or anything like that which my friend and I can convert to this school uniform? She's iffy with patterns and I don't have time to complete two...

To be honest, no I don't.
But if I had to take some wild guess in how to do it by modifying you can probably do either one of the following ways:

1. Get two suit jackets and with one cut it so it's like the main part of the top uniform and with the second suit cut it up to be the removable part. Add the snaps, buttons, etc.

2. Get one suit as well as fabric like the suit. Cut the fabric to the removable part and add the buttons, snaps, etc.

I would suggest hitting your thrift store for this since suits are pricey XD

Sharpie would work pretty well, but check eBay first. Lots of ebay shops are starting to carry odder colors so you might find one that's close.

If you do go with a cosworx one, either go white and dye it to the perfect color or the Sepia cotton candy pastel pink. Again you'll probably sharpie it either way if you really want precision.

I was wondering what fabric I should buy to make C.C.'s jumpsuit thing and what fabric I should invest in to make Zero. Heads up though, I have a $50 budget for C.C. and I don't know what my budget will for Zero, but nothing ridiculous though. I think we're aiming to spend no more than $150 on all 3 costumes combined.

Why such a small budget? Well... I made a Yoko costume and it cost $250+. >.> It won me an award, but we're trying to make stuff nice and inexpensive because of this.

Just my opinion here, but I think a denim-type would work. It's supposed to be a straight-jacket/suit. They are usually made out of a heavy cotton type fabric, if you wanted accuracy..

But I'm also not the best cosplayer (in fact, I might be one of the worst) so if other, more experienced cosplayers suggest otherwise, they might be the better ones to follow.

I just finished making C.C.'s jumpsuit and it cost me about $100 USD total (including wig + boots + fabric + etc.)~ I actually used a soft satin for the main part instead of something heavy (I worried about the seams ripping at the sleeves because one of the sleeves would be quite heavy with all the buckles), black vinyl for the belts, and all the metal pieces are hand carved from nickel, soldered, and painted (since I couldn't find buckles + shapes in stores, but I'm pretty sure there are some out there)~

I'm pretty sure this question has already been answered pages back, but right now I'm really wanting to ask this before I forget later on ^^

I'm planning on cosplaying Kallen from season 1 with the first outfit she wore (the brown one with the red shirt and everything). And I'm wondering...what kind of material would be best for the brown part of the suit ^^ I'm wanting to actually make a cosplay from scratch and from the looks of it this one is pretty easy (then again a lot of stuff that looks easy isn't, right =.=) and luckily a friend of mine might help me in the sewing bit of it.

Also, while I'm at it, how would I also go about making the buttons that are on it, along with the arm bands?

Thanks to any help in advance ^^

I'm bumping this thread up some. I didn't realize how far it got down. But for an upcoming local con, I'm a bit torn on who to cosplay from Code Geass. Since Code Geass I have a feeling won't be well known at this con, other then my small group (that consists of Zero, C.C. and possibly a Nunnally), I'm not sure who I want to cosplay. I've already cosplayed military! Suzaku and Asford! Suzaku.

I do want have a large list though of who I want to cosplay:

Suzaku:

commoner, pilot, knight, mouse cosplay

Kallen:

Black Knight uniform, pilot

Other characters:
V.V.
Ria
Zhou Xianglin

Any opinions on who or what costume I should cosplay for a tiny Ohio-based con?

I use vinyl for mine jumpsuit. The costume itself only take me $30 cause I get the vinyl pretty cheep after Halloween. Though with boot and wig it add up to $80.

Are you doing Lulu or Zero? For lulu regular school uniform cost pretty cheep. You can just use some black suit material. Though for Zero, the cape itself will probably cost somewhere around $20-30 with lining . For Zero's jumpsuit, if you dont use expansive material like pleader, I think the cost is somewhere about $40 for it. Though you still need wig, some accessory and mask.

I woudn't make the cape out of either. Wool and velvet is not your best choice in materials. They are heavy, expensive and not fun to work with. If you want a strong, sturdy material, try a bottom weight like trigger, rodeo or twill. I would stay away from satin as well, unless you want to use it for the lining of the cape.

I never planned to use satin.

I wanted a bit more upscale fabric for my cape so I thought velvet or a nice wool would be acceptable fabric. I don't care about the cost or the difficulty to work with either. I'm heading out to LA's fashion district this Saturday and since I'll have a much wider selection of fabrics than my local Jo-Ann's I thought I'd might as well search out some nicer fabrics.

For the gold pattern, Heat'n'bond does the work perfectly. I used gold pleather and it works like a charm-especially on wool. I would recommend the ultra strong bond for such a huge pattern.

The heat'n'bond works wonders already, but I satin-stitched along the outlines, just for the piece of mind of knowing that if the adhesive backfires, it'll be safe ^^

I hope your cosplay goes well~

Megumi, why do you suggest fabrics that werent even metioned just to talk down to people? I would be extraordinarily careful when ironing your design onto the velvet. Velvet has such an interesting texture because it is a piled fabric (woven almost like a carpet). If you iron velvet directly (even with a press cloth), you'll very likely flatten the pile and lose the nice texture. This isn't an issue for the velvet under your design of course, but it could potentially be an issue for the velvet around your design.

Generally, velvet is ironed with a press/velvet board (http://store.atlantathread.com/veprbo.html) to keep the pile pretty.

Maybe if you can get some more precise heat application around the edge of your design by using the tip/edges of the iron to help decrease pile smushing?

Good luck with everything!

SailorAnime86, mochi-chan <3- I think the Mac's style is perfect for Gino, too, that was my first thought...I thought maybe 613 but it seems too light. ><; The extensions they offer over at Cosworx would match, too, since it's Sepia.

Kessoutan: I see alot of people cast their accessories in resin. I never tried it myself, but it makes it hard and gives it shine. good luck~

Thanks. I wasn't sure what it was called, or what was best to use. Shine is good, in this case. ;D

You could use PlastiDip, too, which you can find at a local hardware store near the paints and glues. It's basically plastic in a spray-can. I'll be using it on my Zero helmet.

However, this is where my own question comes in: For those of you who have made Zero's helmet, what did you use ONLY for the purple/blue dome in the front? My attempts to cut glass have thus far failed, and I'm in a position where I can't experiment with plexiglass. I'm about to just buy this thing (http://www.kitkraft.biz/catalog/6_Clear_dome-p-2550.html) and use a stained-glass kit to make it colorful, but I'm not sure how it'll work out. Others have had success elsewhere, so what say you? Thanks!

Hi all. I'm making Jeremiah Gottwald from R2 for next ACen, and I've been having trouble figuring out what I can make his eye-piece out of.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v35/hiei_kurama27/orangekun/orangekun-18.png

I made one out of Model Magic (made it backwards, idiotic me) :P and it turned out OK. (see my gallery) And I was thinking of putting something over it to make it smoother, harder & durable. But if anyone else has any other suggestions or other methods, I'd love to hear them.

Maybe paint a coat of glaze? I recommend Triple Thick Gloss Glaze by DecoArt ^^" It leaves a nice clean/smooth finish after it dries *although you must be careful to not put on too much* It will also makes the piece more durable and paint (acrylic) would go very nicely over it~

I appreciate your help so much! I've never heard of PlastiDip, and it sounds interesting. The Gloss Glaze too. I'm glad I have more options now. I love trying new things.

Oooh, thank you for this! :D I'll be super careful!
Would it be a good idea to get something like this:
http://www.threadandmore.com/ProdImages/clover%20mini%20iron%20adapter%20set.jpg
just to be sure I won't ruin it? I have no idea if these things work well, though. :/

We use those kind of irons in quilting for applique. They'd probably work well for applying your design, but I'd still be very careful not to ruin the velvet. Also, be careful when you use that kind of iron in general, its really really easy to burn yourself on them.

Haha oh god I burn myself with my regular iron way too often as is. >_>;

mochi-chan <3- I can't really recommend the Wisp either, the back won't spike well. ><;; It lies really flat against the wearer's head.

Ah I'm so glad more people are starting to cosplay from Code Geass!

I'm making Kallen's red battle suit. I can't wait until it's done! : D

Aulhuma: thanks for telling before I was about to make the order:crylaugh: I have a white wisp, but the cosplay needed for it to just trimmed so I never experimented on how well it spikes. The firbers feel pretty coarse, not halloween quality, but not as silky, as the Ivy or willow >.<

I just figured the wisp, since it was fairly thick(or maybe they have more fibers in hw hite so it doesnt show).

I might go with your plan and get willow+extensions, since Im desparate for the 24b color~xD

If you have your Wisp on hand, you might as well try it just to see? I don't think it would spike too well, but...

Agh, if the Mac were in stock in 613 I'd just say dye it. ;A; Oh well...
Best of luck styling it! I know I need some...

Hey everyone! My friend asked me to make this uniform for him http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff71/Haruhi_LovelyComplex/code%20geass/code-geass2.jpg
(the black one) and I want to do a good job of it. So I was wondering what type of fabric I should use to make it?

For the Ashford uniform you wanna use fabric close to that of what you would use for a suit

Personally, I choose to use twill for the male Ashford uniform. It's sturdy, easy to use and it's wonderful multipurpose material that looks and works well for most uniforms in general.

My next Code Geass costume is this version of Kallen's flight suit. http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/8459/kallenccpb8.jpg

I have been debating what material to make it out of, so I could use some input.

Lyrca spandex would be more form fitting and breatheable, but it looks cheap as a flight suit.

PVC has efficient stretch but looks too plastic. Kallen's suit does not have that much shine.

Pleather looks about the right consistency and texture, but is hot to wear over extended periods of time.

Which of the three seems the best to use? Thanks for any input.

I've known a few others to use the same material choice for their Ashford uniforms. It does get a bit warm though compared to a few other choices of material, but I also line my cosplays.

Hi everyone~~I soon will be making a Suzaku cosplay for New York Anime Festival. But his school uniform first~I'm using black canvas & gold vinyl for the uniform and it's actually a nice mix <3~I also will be making an Arthur plushie to carry around but still debating on the material to use for him. I first thought of felt, but then again wool would be nice so he's cute and fluffy~

And a quick question for the gold accents what do you tend to use? I choose vinyl because another cosplayer used it and it looked really nice. But I had a HUGE amount of trouble looking for one store that sold it.

Why is it so hard to choose my next costume from CG for Matsuri Con? I'm having such a difficult time on deciding what to cosplay next. I kind of want to do another Suzaku costume, just because I have the wig already, but in the same breath, I want to do someone or something unusual, unique and uncommon. Any suggestions?

Not yet, but partially I don't have alot of time and money to dedicate just yet to such a beautiful costume ^^; I would rather save that costume for a con that I have time to dedicate it to.

I've got pilot!marianne in the works for Otakon. Muahahaha. I'm gonna die, but it'll be awesome when it's done. Anyone have any reccomendations on what the heck that thing is over her chest under the jacket?? I'm a little lost. Thinking of making it a vest/breastplate, a la Jill Valentine's useless shoulder armor.

Pic for reference, I know it's crappy:

After about an hour of coming up with such terrible skit/picture ideas that we were literally rolling on the floor laughing, my brother is going to be Lelouch/Zero (School uniform with the cape) and I'm going to be SPINZAKU.

I'm half considering buying BrightBright's version if it's still for sale since it's half a joke costume (for one, we're carrying oranges with Jeremiah faces drawn on them) but for my brother's costume... Not looking foward to that cape! Time to dive into the thread X3

EDIT: Okay, I give up. Anyone have a flat layout of Zero's cape? (not the collar) This is... really bugging me.

I was considering many costume ideas to follow up my Lloyd Asplund (which was popular with a lot of people, but sadly is retired). Kaguya and Tianzi were at the top of the list for a while.

But I've decided. As soon as I tone up my belly to an acceptable slimness, I am so cosplaying Anya. And having pictures taken of either SPINZAKU pose or Ninja Lelouch's I BELIEVE I CAN FLY pose.

hey, tell me when you bust this out so maybe we can knight it out.

At the moment I'm excited about starting a Luciano Bradley after yaoi-con. I look forward to being a jerk to people.
The only issue will be finding some nice fabric for that ugly orange cape of his.

I've been kind of wanting to cosplay Rolo, but I don't want to be mistaken for Lelouch or Suzaku if I cosplayed his school uniform. Other then his school uniform and pilot uniform, is there any other noticable outfits that Rolo wears? Or does it just all rely on the wig? And what color should I look? I'm not even sure what to call his hair color.

Personally, I'd think the wig color and style should make it obvious who you are. But if you're feeling really ambitious, you could always do his pilot outfit. I think that's the only other thing he wears in the series. At least that I can remember. Admittedly, I might not be paying attention because I don't like him very much. XD
