View Full Version : Vergil (DMC3) coat help

Arrg, I'd like some help figuring out the seams in Vergil's coat. :3

Specifially, the seam (or lack thereof) around his collar (I guess a Mandarin collar?) and shoulders. I was trying to make his collar and his front panels in one piece (ok, well two actually- one on each side, but the point is that I don't want to sew his collar on and have seam lines), but I'm having trouble figuring out how to do that. Can fabric bend that way? >.>

In this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v678/vashnic/vergil3cg2.jpg) high res pic, you can clearly see the lack of seam between his collar and the front of the jacket.

In this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v678/vashnic/vergil3concept5.jpg) concept art, you can see that the back has a top middle panel and a bottom middle panel flanked by the side panels. Those line things on his collar don't show up in game. >.>

However, in this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v678/vashnic/group3cg1.jpg) shot, you can't see any shoulder seam (seam from neck to top of sleeves) whatsoever! So his back panel, his front panels, and his collar are all one huge and oddly shaped piece of fabric? Is that even possible?! Er, without causing some odd and massive wrinkles.

Here's something that has a similar collar-
But I don't know what the shoulder seams look like. Maybe you could alter this to work? ^^;
