"Rurouni Kenshin, One Piece, Naruto, Sand Land, YU-GI-OH!, SHAMAN KING, DRAGON BALL Z"

My thought : only Sand Land has not been released in France... shonen-jump-hits-wise, we're ahead ^^;
A scandal : there's not even HunterXHunter ! (and it's currently the best title in Shonen Jump)

Actully, they sent a second message that I don't think made it to the article. It said the following:

Rurouni Kenshin Alert!

Wow! The response for Rurouni Kenshin has been overwhelming, but we should clarify a thing or two about the previous newsletter. Rurouni Kenshin will be published by Viz, but we have not yet announced how it will be published. It may be in SHONEN JUMP, it may be published as Graphic Novels--or it may appear in both. Rurouni Kenshin will make an appearance in Issue 7, however--in a feature article. Stay tuned for more details about the historical hit manga/anime

Is Shonen Jump only available through subscription? Or are there stores that carry it? Seeing the Kenshin anime series makes me want to read the manga so much! This would be my very first one.

Oro? yeah i'm glad it's comming out it premires in vol 7 of shonen jump ( or at least that's what they said on the other thread )

Really? I interpreted that as meaning they'll have an article talking about the release of the manga and the series in general, not the premiere of the manga itself.

Well that's what they said on one of the other threads around here. I checked issue 6 of Shonen Jump to try and confirm it but I didn't see any ads or anything saying it'd be in the next one.

OK just making sure that's nice although i'd actually prefer it to appear in graphic novel form so you could buy it seperately. But then again as I said before i'm happy we're even lucky to have it translated so I won't complain too much about it, anyway i'm sure it will come in GN form someday Dragonball and DBZ already are so why not.

It will definatly be released in GN format eventaly thats by going what Viz has down in the past ie Yu gi oh running in SJ then started to realse ion Gn format.

ouuuu, hopefully, I'd be much more willing to get the GN forms rather than collect SJ, just because I'd always fear missing one, where GN seems to be a little easier to find.

I'd prefer that it come out as a graphic novel, too. It's easier to collect. ^___^

I flipped through a copy of July's Shonen Jump today. It says that we can look forward to the RK manga starting NOVEMBER. I can stand the wait, but they still haven't said for sure if it's going to run in Shonen Jump or as a graphic novel. O__o

SERIOUSLY!?

sweet! I'm still hoping for GN form, but I'll pick up SJ if it goes to that.
