Hi
I have a white wig that I want to make purple by using a temporary spray in hair color product. Will this work? Or will the synthetic hair not hold the color etc... Also I'm worried that it will make it stiff or get all over my costume.

Any suggestions or advice?

Hey check out this link. It's an old forum thread explaining all the ways you can go about *possibly coloring a wig.

I thou' would advise against trying to color a whole white wig with temporary color cuz it'll most likely flake off the color horridly. Slight touch-ups here and there are fine but the whole wig would not work. Hope that helps ya some. ^_^

Ya that did help a lot! However I visted this site
aljodye.com and I don't know which dye to purcahse in order to dye my wig.

The person who posted also provied a journal link but it was gone and now I'm not quite sure what to do.

Have all the methods that were mentioned there been tested yet.

The sharpie, the thinned out arcylic paint etc....

Yes, if you read each of the individual posts you'll see that the posters are sharing their own experiences. No one will be able to say "YES, do THIS!" You'll just have to pick one you want and try it for yourself until you find a method you like.

So know one knows which type of dye this person purchased? Cause that's the method I want to go with.

Why don't you try PMing the original poster?
