Hello ^-^. Uhm, I'm planning to cosplay as Bridget from Guilty Gear. I have a bit of a problem though, I can handle Roger [Giant stuffed bear]. But I'm having a bit of a trouble with the giant handcuff thing he has around his waist. Maybe any of you has an idea of what I can use to make it?. ;____;
Here's a reference picture.

Any kind of help is appreciated, Thanks ^-^.

Most Bridgets seem to use either paper mache of some sort, or a base of foamboard- the pink insulation type, I believe (or similar) and maybe a wire base inside to keep the shape. As I haven't made it myself (yet) I can't say much more than that, but those are some of the things I've seen done. :3

insulation foam will probably work best

I would pick up two hula hoops from Toys R Us cheap, and glue them on top of each other. That way you're starting with a perfect circle, and it will be a bit sturdy. Then i'd cut pink insulation foam for the top and bottom, use craft foam or cardboard for the sides, and add all the details, painting it last. I'd say you could throw it after that, and it would be ok...but thats just me, i try to build my stuff to take a beating, i'm a clutz XD
