attn: everyone going to Anime Expo, please listen up! The J-rock Masquerade is seriously lacking entrants. C'mon guys ~ you need strut some serious j-rock badass stuff.
Think walking across the stage and bowing as Kamijo isn't cool enough?
Think doing a Mana pantomime with someone holding up subtitles won't be funny?
Think break dancing as Miyavi won't be endured?
well - you're wrong! It all counts!
Be it a a walk on or a skit, please register!
you know what maybe the problem is? It's cuz we're all gonna be in the audience and we can all look around and see each other ('cept if a couple of us might have mutated helmets or gasmasks, etc. -- but mostly see each other)
Uh, yeah, so unless people *do* have some kinda skit, a walk-on maybe isn't worth the anxiety of getting on stage. I don't know...it's a really weird fine line some people don't get that hallway cosplay's totally fine but the minute a stage is involved, it completely changes its nature...Yes, really, there is a difference somehow.
Or maybe peeps just don't wanna miss the MSTing. Or you made the loli contest too appealing.

well - maybe folks don't understand that they're not going to be stuck back behind our raised stage. The J-rock Masquerade goes on directly after the opening Q&A and after the masquerade, they take their seats back in the audience.
This isn't like a BIG masquerade.
oh I didn't realize it was first. ^_^* I thought it was like the loli contest, then the MST thingie and -then- at the end, the real j-rock cosplays. Okay, that makes much more sense. Then peeps can be in their j-rock gear for the majority of the day beforehand and keep their loli costumes a secret until the contest. I guess that does benefit those who are doing both.
Well, then, if it's first on the menu, maybe people will volunteer afterall. Like, whoever walks on in the beginning in cosplay gets good seats in the front for the rest of the events as a reward. ^_-

Well ~ I guess as long as people just get there early enough, they can just put their bags down on their seats and/or have friends save them. I'm not oppossed to that, I mean - they deserve those great seats ~ they're getting up on stage! LOL
