After playing x-2 (I'm not proud of it, but it happened) and getting through the Via Infinito, I came across Torema (the final boss of the dungeon). Blah blah blah.

Then he starts speaking Latin, and suddenly, my curiosity is peaked all over again. Since final fantasy x had so many references to Christianity, and it could be argued that the game is more satirical on that subject that anything else, I couldn't help but feel like the Latin Torema speaks is of some kind of importance. I tried to figure out a translation, because not only does it sound like Latin, but it also sounds like familiar Latin, as in a famous prayer perhaps, or a well-known Latin saying. I've had no luck finding a translation, or even a copy of what he says online, so I'm just wondering if anyone else might have come across one, or has any idea what he might be saying.

Played about 45 minutes of that game and it was 45 minutes I will never get back. If you come across what he's actually saying, I can probably give you an approximate translation.
