I need some help making Simon's goggles: http://torrents.net.ua/forum/art/1/107/55.jpg

I can't think of a way to make them without them looking extremely cheesy or unwearable. I want to be able to pull them over my eyes without them falling off.

I also need help with Anise's dagger:

My mind's at a complete blank for this. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Just as a note: these are only my second and third cosplays, so forgive me if I'm a bit slow. XD; Thank you!

1) Your pic looks like it has been removed or we don't have access to it.

2) For the knife, I would make a trip down to the old favorite Home Depot and purchase a 4x8 sheet of insulation foam (make sure you have something to put it in!) and build with that. Layer times thrice and sand down to gfet the shape you want. You can't absolutely douse it in primer though, just lightly dust it, then paint to your hearts desire. You will have a lot of foam left over, keep it around, it is pretty much a guarantee you will use it for another cosplay.

Eek. Hopefully this one will work? The leftmost picture on the top shows his goggles.

That sounds easy enough. Thank you! How would you suggest holding the layers together, hot glue or something? (sorry, total newbie at this)

Never use hot glue to glue the foam together! It will melt it...I found this out the hard way lol. You can buy some Liquid Nails for foam (it comes in a blue tube).

As for Simon's goggles, I made a pair of goggles out of cardboard, leather and glasses lenses for my Female Cid cosplay. I was completely winging it on the goggles I made so theyre not all that great. Maybe you can search for a tutorial?

Oooh, okay. XD Thanks for the advice!

I've tried looking for tutorials but the only ones I've been able to find are aviator-looking goggles, which aren't what I want. I'll keep on trying~
