Okay, so my drama club's having a secrect spirit thing for opening night, and since my "spiritee" loves pokemon videogames, I decided to work on a pokemon gift basket for her.

Problem is, I know she's already got a diamond verison. She doesn't care what version of pokemon she plays, and it should be able to played on a game boy or a DS. Can anyone suggest maybe a older verison of a pokemon videogame? Like I remember there was a pokemon pinball game a few years ago.

Also, if you have any gift basket ideas, I'm all ears! :)

Thanks!

pokemon pinball was for gameboy color I believe...won't be able to be played on a ds...but if she has a gameboy or gameboy colour still laying around it should be okay...

I dunno...I think it'll still play. Since the SP could play both Color and Advance...you'd think it'd be able to play in the GBA/SP slot of the DS.

The Nintendo DS can't play original Game Boy / Game Boy Color games. So, Pokemon Pinball is out.

If she already has Diamond, you could always shoot for the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. I haven't played them personally, but they'd offer a different Pokemon experience then the main series.

That aside, you could pick up a couple of small Pokemon stuffed animal/plush-things. At the risk of my masculinity, I can say with honesty that a girl I work with has the most adorable Pikachu one I've ever seen, and it's pretty small.

Can't go wrong with Pikachu.
