I'm currently in the second stage (third if you count the burning house as the "first"). It was cool that they brought back the Alchemilla Hospital. Even the map layout is the same. But that whole stage felt kind of rushed. Like, "We've gotta put a Hospital level in there, it's pretty much obligatory, so let's just get it out of the way early and we can make it relatively short, too." Plus the character introduction isn't paced that well; by the time you're through the Hospital, you've already met all the supporting characters. I'm also having a hard time coming up with a reason for the Patient and Nurse demons, aside from "They were popular before and in the movie, so let's put 'em in here."
But these are just my own little nitpicks. On the whole I'd say it's a great game so far and the new team really did the series justice.

Funny thing is spoony at first i felt the same but theres a huge reason why the hospital was short, why the nurses/patient demons( and yes thats their actual name now) and what exactly is going on.

God awful game is god awful. I'll stick with Dracula X and my imported copy of Crisis Core.

Yeah. if you've got the money, this game pretty much justifies buying a PSP.

lol, I'll probably just ask for one for Christmas this year. Along with the game cause that's the only reason why I want a PSP in the first place.

Yeah, that was pretty much the primary reason for me getting one too. Only I had to drop my own cash for it. If you can just ask for a PSP for Christmas and get it though, more power to you. I also recommend MGS: Portable Ops and the upcoming GoW: Chains of Olympus.

Back on topic, I'm in the Motel now. I know, I could have beaten it in all this time. It's not that I'm bored with the game - far from it, it's immensely entertaining. I'm just trying to stretch it out. Relishing it. Anyway, as cool as it is, if I have one complaint about it anymore, it's that I'm kinda tired of fighting Patient Demons. Seeing old enemies kind of distracts me from all the great new ones (I especially like the ones in the Sanitarium - the shadowy figures with the IV poles or whatever).

Totally agree on that.

Anyhow, finished the games twice and it is really nice, but nothing SPECIAL to me. Didn't "scare" me at all like the others did :-/
