If you're like me, (which many of you probably are), then when you attend an anime con, you tend to spend a good amount of time in the game room. It's often fustrating when while attending said room, the list of games is rather paultry, or there are bad combinations out.

So that being said (/stupidintro), what are you looking forward to playing in the new con season?

Short List:

Naruto: Narumett Hero Accel 2
Naruto: GNTex2 (Here's hoping they fix it)
DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 3
Guilty Gear: Accent Core
Melty Blood:
Smash Brothers Brawl
Naruto: Rise of a Ninja
Ace Combat 6
Halo 3
Gears Of War 2
Guitar Hero 3/Rock Band
King of Fighters XII
Metal Gear Online

Note I didn't include any of the tried and true classics (Puyo Pop, Puzzle Fighter, katamari, etc etc), since they're all to be expected at this point. But what are you looking forward to in the upcoming year?

I usually don't play video-games when I go to cons, but if i ever do have time to stop by, I look to see if they have Dead or Alive 4 for the 360, and Samurai Showdown 2, 3, or 4 for any Neo-Geo cabinets. (I rule with Charlotte & Ukyo) ;)

When there is nothing to do at a con I do check out the game room, I usually play DOA, Soul Calibur III, KOF, and GG: Accent Core, if they have it I would play Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

Nothing because no one ever plays multiplayer games I'm remotly interested in. I don't bother with Super Smash, and I'm only good at Soul Calibur 2.

You people need to start playing Twisted Metal, seriously. Not to mention, where are all the multiplayer CO OP games? I'm not into competition.

A huge attraction I had at Zkon was Bleach for Wii. It had just come out that week, so people were swarming it, heh.
I had GG Accent Core too, but that didn't seem to draw much. Made for a GREAT tournament though, damn those guys were good.
And of course, Halo 3 was constantly occupied...

Kinda hard to get that balance between old and new on limited tvs/systems... Really hope I have more inventory to work with next year...

Totally looking forward to Brawl action.

I always love watching Smash Bros. tourneys. Makes me realize how much I suck :walkoff:

If any con got Pump It Up, I would gladly step up to that.

A few games you missed out are:

Street Fighter 4,Virtua Fighter 5,Soul Calibur:Legends/Soul Calibur IV,Ratchet and Clank Future:Tools of Destruction.

Personally,I can't wait to play Brawl,Guitar Hero III/Rock Band and the games I listed.

Maybe the new Fire Emblem?

Holy crap, you guys may be onto something here... I'd love to see con tourneys with these games over the usual fighting games. I can only imagine a Rabbids tourney with huge concert quality speakers and the Rabbids' gibberish blasting at full volume. Funny thing is, I have yet to even see Rayman himself at all in any of the RR2 previews/minigames!

Are there even any plans for a new Twisted Metal game? I thought Black was fairly ok once you get a hang of the special moves.

Car combat games aren't really in anymore.

I'd personally like to see an interstate 88 over Twisted Metal.

What no Bleach Blade Battlers 2nd? Lame! Also Mario Kart Wii when that drops.

And Portal needs to be on this list. Yeah, I don't care if it's only single player, it's f%$^ing Portal, end of discussion.

Car combat games were never "in". Unless its one on one, no Minion, Holland, and no specials. (see what I did there?)

Final Destination. (I know it's not in the game but you should put it anyway, gives the meme more gravity)

But twisted metal huh? Not a bad pick, and certainly not bad for a game room.
