I'm a costume/prop maker, and I jsut started my first mobile suit. I'm making it out of sheet styrene, fiberglass reesin, and bondo. I want to post WIP pics but i cant figure out how to import images. anways, I'd like to know people's opinion on what color scheme I should do. I find the original paint scheme rather boring. I'm leaning towards grey, dark grey, and gloss red on the chest and shield. I've seen other pictures with blue instead of red. take the poll and let me know what you think!

thanks pilot. heres a bad pic of the backpack. I cant find my digital camera, this is from my phone. It's an older pic, the packpack is 90% done, and the chest block is 100% with opening door and cockpit.
helmet hasnt been touched in a while. will start shoulders next.

My gundam is nearly complete too but i can't finish the helmet i reckon you should stick with the original colours as it gives it that original authentic feel. Mine is based on wing zero from Endless waltz a bit corny the film but, the mobile suit looks awesome. i'm sticking to the original colour scheme for that :). But nice work where did you get you're sheet styrene from?? as i may use it for helm? Also you following any plans or all from reference pictures.

This work is amazing. I'm in awe, and GM's rock.
I thought about doing a Guncannon when I want to start working with the materials you are. I think the basic design is simple enough.
