I thought about a dress I wore to a dance, one of those chinese ones, name escapes me but someone will know what I'm talking about. Then it hit me, there's someone from a videogame with a dress like that! So I looked into Tekken, then Virtual Fighter, which made me remember her name. Chun Li. In most pictures I've seen, I'd like to think the fabric is cotton, she's a fighter, so silk would get damaged too much. The only problem is, how to make this. My sewing skills aren't the greatest... But I'm willing to try my hardest! Any ideas? Advice?

Are you talking about a qipao/cheongsam? I know Folkwear and Simplicity have a pattern for it...
