Which armbands, the ones on her wrists or the ones on her jacket? I know how a friend of mine did hers, I could tell you.

For the ones on the jacket, she used metal sheeting. For the ones on the wrists, she used the tops of soda bottles and painted them silver. ^_^ Her costume's really good too! and as for the hair, another friend of mine put hair curlers on her bangs and went hairspray-crazy on her bangs. The end result was pretty good, too!

If you know anyone with woodworking tools (a relative or something), maybe they'll be able to help. My father made my arm cuffs... Each one is two pieces, and rubber bands hold them together in the grooves, if that makes sense. :)

As for the jacket cuffs...

I bought a belt with those funny studded holes. I cut it up and formed two bands with it, and then hot-glued bradley pins into each hole. Then I cut two strips of craft-foam and glued it onto the top and bottom of each band to form the ridges. Then I just spraypainted them silver... :D :D And they turned out okay!

lol, I wish I cosplayed as Aeris. The local costume store near me had "gladiator arm bracelets" in the same image/arm location as Aeris'. They're made of plastic, and would look cool spray painted. But yeah, definately try the studded belts, or buy a plain belt, and then buy the studs seperatey at a craft/fabric store.
