If the movie is not even in the theaters here, so you can't even hope for a bad divx version to stare at...
Is that outfit featured in the trailers? If so you could try and download it on WInMX or some other file-sharing program and screencap it...
That looks like a lovely dress. *________*

I know I've seen some good pictures of it somewhere.. but I'm not sure where. You could try doing an image search on google? I think I was doing that when I found the pictures. ::Nods.:: And.. somewher else.. it might be on the FotR DVD extra's but I've tried to get screencaps to no avail. :( My program sucks or they've made it so you can't..
Good luck. :D I hope you post pictures when its done! ^_^

I'm not sure if they have any information up about that dress, but you could try checking this page:
If there's nothing up about that dress, you could also try asking their mailing list. I'm a member of it, and they're *really* helpful about costumes.

Hi! I'm new here too! ^_^
I'm gonna do the same gown too for the Dec 18+ Premiere and so far I came up with this idea while still keeping the cost down (it was an unplanned costume! :-P )
The original costume, as mentioned at AlleyCatScratch, is made of Velvet (Crimson Red/Scarlet & Black/Dark Bulgary), Laces and maybe some embroyies. It kinda follow the design of a Jumper for the body part and the usual Long Sleeves.
What I'm doing instead is to make the Gown out of Black Velvet for the "Jumper" part, Crimson/Scarlet Silky Satin for the "Blouse" and Sleeves, Rose Red Acetate Lining for the Sleeves Lining and Dull Gold/Brownish Lace for on top of the Blouse and on top of the upper sleeves. So far, I had calculated that it'll cost way less than SGD100 (USD54 for the fabrics) since I'm buying from the usual Arab/Indian/Chinese Cloths Shop here instead of Spotlight, the equivalent of Joann's.
I'll also appreciate some tips on it, especially the pattern for the sleeves. ;) Thanks! ^_^
