I was wondering, if any of you have cosplayed Rin before, would you give me a tutorial somehow? I have the kimono tutorial, but I don't know where I'll find the white-and-orange-squared fabric, or how to get the bubble-like stencils on. Any ideas?

I don't think you'll be able to find white and orange checkered fabric honestly, most Rin cosplayers actually 'make' the fabric themselves by patchworking the squares together. Other than painting the squares on, which might not look that great, patchworking is probably your only option.

I would think it to be easier to sew all the squares together, then cut the pattern pieces out of the patchworked fabric.

That won't be easy though, and will take a LOT of time.

Ad for the bubbles, I'd probably just make a stencil out of a blank sheet of stencil plastic from a crafts store, then paint them on with fabric paints.
