View Full Version : Bleach [Orihime/Ishida] Cosplay help

Alright. I'm doing Orihime for AX this year, and I need a few helpful ideas. The Costume I'm doing is the outfit she wears into the Soul Society. Pink top and the white pants..all that. Anyways, I have the shirt and pants and the shoes. The help i need is this:

-My boyfriend suggest fabric paint to do the designs to save money. Is that a good idea? If so what are the best colors to use on the pants?

-Alright my hair isn't gonna be as long, and i'm not into wearing wigs or can i get extentions the same color. I need to know what is the closest hair color I can get to Orihime's hair color without it being Orange and that a salon in California can get close to. [Like bright strawberry Blonde or like that XD]

Now my boyfriend is doing Ishida's outfit in the Soul Society and we have a place that is gonna make it and all. All I need is this:

-Where to get the same type of glasses

-Where to get a wig with his hair style.

Thank you~

you have a reference picture for Orihime? its been awhile since i watched the soul society arc so i don't recall what her pants looked like.
orihime's hair color: unless you're ok with having your hair dyed similar to Orihime's for awhile, i strongly encourage using a wig. cosworx sells them for a reasonable price and they ship pretty fast. but if you're set on coloring your hair, i'd go with a natural ginger hair color, as her hair wouldn't really be orange if you saw it in the real world.
Ishida wig: try looking around on ebay. otherwise you're most likely either going to have to commission someone to style it for your or do it yourself.

Also i'm SO for having my hair her color XD -is a natural redhead-

oh ok. yeah don't use fabric paint for the designs on the legs - the paint will end up cracking since its been stretched so much. i would suggest buying fabric to make the stripes on the legs instead. that and fabric would look a lot better too.

you won't find glasses that match ishida's. you'll get close but they wont be the same
i made mine from plastic and another pair of glasses
