For those of us who loved going to the arcades in the early 90's SNK has released several titles to give us a bad flashback! So far the ones this past month that have been released are:

Art of Fighting
Fatal Fury
World Heroes

Yes, for those of you asking Samurai Showdown Anthology is soon to be released. Probably next month, I haven't been able to find an exact release date. All of these are the arcade games!! With Samurai Showdown I'm not sure if it will have 1 through 5 since 5 was released on XBox about a couple of years ago.

At the end of April SNK Arcade Classics Volume 1 is to be released. It will have SS1 and Metal Slug on there (both are in anthology format of course), but a number of other titles like Magician Lord and Sengoku (awesome brawler!)

I was wondering when SNK was going to go all out and start releasing stuff like the other companies.

Have fun!

Nope, the Sam Sho compilation has been slated for Q4 release and will contain 1-6/0 Special (PS2, Wii and PSP). Art of Fighting anthology was released last year around the time KoF XI came to market, we should be expecting FF Battle Archives 2 after the World Heroes shindig releases (Q2 iirc). SNK Classics will also be taking on a PS2 release (Burning Fight anyone?), as will KoF 98UM, Orochi Saga and Metal Slug 7.

At last, we're getting these awesome games here!

I am waiting for my World Heroes to get in the mail and will order Fatal Fury Battle Archives 2 soon. Also I am going to wait for the release of Samurai Showdown Anthology and King of Fighters Orochi. I don't know if KoF Nests and Last Blade will be released here. I was thinking of getting SNK Anthologies but I already downloaded Magician Lord and KoF 94 on the Wii Virtual Console as well as owning Metal Slug, Art of Fighting, World Heroes(soon) and Fatal Fury Battle Archives compilations.

I would be very happy if they release a compilation that includes Iron Tank, Crystalis, Ikari Warriors 1-3, and Guerilla War. Also an anthology containing sports, shooters, quiz shows, and puzzles would be nice.

The first volume of the arcade classics should be out now, just check with your local game stores. GameStop was showing it active in the system, but nobody got any copies. I'll be bugging them on the phone tomorrow to see if they got a shipment in.

I picked up the Fatal Fury Battle Archives Vol 2 over the weekend. Oh yeah!!

With a huge arcade library you can expect a lot of stuff to come out from SNK. I'm hoping for a release of the Aero Fighters series. :D

Finally got vol 1 of SNK Arcade Classics yesterday! Warning, it's a bit tough to acquire because for some reason only a trickle of copies have been making it to GameStop stores so it's best to try and have the hold one for you if they can.

World Heroes on this is unlockable by acquiring 10 medals through out the games. Medals are acquired by accomplishing various goals, like beating the set high scores, completing the game, and beating the games again without losing a life in some aspects. Getting a medal will unlock move lists for AOF, KOF, FF, SS, and WH. Other medals get you artwork, demo videos, and game soundtracks.

Since this is vol 1, definitely expect more in the future!

I added both World Heroes and Fatal Fury Battle Archive Volume 2 to my PS2 Neo Geo Collection. Next is KoF Orochi and Samurai Showdown Anthology. If they release more Neo Geo Anthologies here, they definitely have to release the PS2 Neo Geo Joystick :-D in the US.
