I guess Ancel finally managed to convince the powers-that-be that it was worth publishing.

He revealed a couple of weeks back that he and his team had been working on it for quite some time now, but the higher ups had yet to officially okay the project. It's good to see that they saw the light.

What a lame ass CGI teaser. =/

I guess we'll be seeing the original game pop up on the Marketplace in the future. The game was never in my tastes. But I think this sequel will be more of a hit than the original.

I hate to be the Devil's advocate, but I genuinely think that's gameplay. Ancel isn't the type to do CGI trailers.

Anyway, after watching the trailer, I'm genuinely glad this is isn't for Wii. I'm an enormous BG&E fan and I want an evolution, not waggle-staves and Wiimote cameras.

I wouldn't get too excited over this. They are marketing the sequel completely different. They want to make money this time. Whether that's a good thing or bad thing, only time will tell.

So what, they're gonna, you know, market it this time? Because they didn't last time, which was one of the reasons why it failed.

One or two commercials here and there. Hell, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja had a better marketing campaign in the states than this game.

I'm well aware of the reasons why it failed. And to correct you, they did market it(just not hard enough). Not sure if you remembered or not but there was a commercial for it.

Sure they are going to give it more TV-spots, but what worries me is that they are marketing it to the more casual gamer by making it more accessible in terms of gameplay and design(in all honesty I don't understand because pt. 1 could've easily found its niche in the casual gaming community given the proper chance). Anyways as I said before, that could be good or bad. We'll see.
