can anyone help me find a patter that will work?
I am find with having to alter it a little bit...

please help...
I do not have a lot of time to finish my cosplay due to unexpected changes to the cosplay i was to do instead...So i moved Isaak up from next years cosplay.

I am kind of in a panic...0___0...i have 3 months so it isn't that bad...but i am panicking anyway...0___0

Thank you in advance...^^

I could even use a short pattern and alter it to make it longer...
but i cant seem to find one like that with the right collar.

Well the simplest I could find with that type of collar was a sleep shirt

If you go to sewing stores (or walmart..) you can flip through their pattern books for a pattern with an appropriate collar, sleeves and length are always easy enough to alter. Look for things like suit coats or historical mens wear in costuming.

oh..
Matrix jacket..0__0...i think that would work well

I should go and flip through books...
but i have already looked for historical mens coats...and i cant find one with the right collar...so i suppose a normal jacket with the right collar can be altered to work

Just find a double breasted suit coat pattern and tweak it slightly for fit and length :) Sharpen out the lapel points if you want.

Example! http://www.mainstreetmallonline.com/patterns/listingview.php?num=14075&ref=2

As a note, I really dislike the Matrix pattern for... most anything -__-;

True that is is just altered for length
but wouldn't the front be a bit different?
it looks like it is kind of a separate piece with the buttons on it...
kind of like....Vash's coat...

basically a basic coat the the strip with the buttons attach to both sided holding it together...

i don't know i may be way off here..0__o

dislike it?...0___0...
is it not a good pattern to use?
if it isn't i may have to refrain from using it

It's animated awkwardly, but the Rosenkreuz uniforms were based off of the old SS ones, just doubled breasted coats.

It's a little hard to catch the details, but you can tell it's all one piece by the way the trim attaches from the front panel to the collar

Hope that helps :)

As for the Matrix pattern, it's oddly fit, very boxy, even the small is ungodly large, and the collar to nowhere near correct for Isaak (the collar on the Morpheus coat is from an attachable yoke). It was designed to be a costume, not an actual article of clothing.

Hmm..i suppose your right...maybe i will try to find a good double breasted jacket to use...i just don't know what one to use.
there are so many to choose from and there is always something wrong with every one of them...i guess i will have to find the one with the least wrong with it and seems to be the easiest to alter...

i have found that i need a pea coat pattern...
but i have not had much luck with finding them..>.>...
they escape me some how...

does anyone know of a pea coat pattern i could use?
*ie: the number and brand*
