Hai there! :)
Okay, so I went to ACEN this year, and oh my gosh it was so awesome. I didn't have time to put a cosplay together, though.
But I'm going next year, and it's not too soon to start planning.

Anyway, I decided to be original, and I'm going to cosplay a character I created.

I already know where I'm getting the goggles.

Gotta love goggles. hehe.

The black pants and shoes will be a piece of cake.

Now I need some help with the following:
-The hoodie.
-The guns and gun holster.

As for the hair, well, it's my natural hair color, so no worries there.

But does anyone know where I can find a red hoodie with a white hood?
And I need to find some toy guns as well with a belt to hold em.

Thank you!

Can't help with the hoodie. Best suggestion would be if you can't find the hoodie you want, just get a red one and a white one and mold the two together? It actually wouldn't be that expensive if you were patient and found them on sale (or if you're lucky enough to have a Steve & Barry's near you--they're uber cheap and usually have a massive selection of hoodies).

For the belt you want to use for your guns, try an army surplus store if there's one near you. They normally have cheap belts, gun clips (or whatever they're called, the things you use to attach guns and other fun stuff to belts) and/or gun holsters.

Toy guns...try any toy shop. A friend of ours recently discovered Nerf modding. Basically, you buy a cheap Nerf gun (they start at $5 and go up from there), paint and cut away parts and it looks like a completely different gun. Painting a water gun would have the same effect. Just remember to put an orange strip or two on the guns so people know they are fake (mostly for cops, but also for nervous big city people, like me).

If you're looking to just buy the pieces to put together...I have no clue, sorry. Good luck with your original!

And by the way, thanks for linking that site. They have some goggle styles I've been searching for a costume for a looong time!

Yeah, for the hoodie, I'm gonna get a white hoodie and wear a red
t-shirt over it.

Thanks for your help!

for the gun, make sure to read up on any weapons policy for the con. AX in particular basically wont let you bring a gun prop in unless it is all neon, clear, or whatever. you may need to put on more than just a few orange stripes.

just a heads up, you dont want your first cosplay experience to be crappy. but good luck on your costume!

I forgot different cons have different gun policies. You'll also want to have a bag or something to put your gun in while walking around if you're not in con buildings....no matter how fake it looks, you never want to risk a faint-hearted person or cop thinking it's real.

And glad to hear you've already got at least one part of your costume figured out!
