How would I go about making his jeans? Well, not necessarily making them, but altering them to have the lines across them.

I've noticed that it is in the front and back on his jeans. Since I searched and found no jeans that look like that, I'm gonna try toadjust them myself, but I have no clue where to start...sadly...I'm new to sewing (Extremely new).

And just to avoid making another topic, what is the true color of his shirt? Black and white or red and black? I've seen both of them so many times where I'm not sure which it is...or if both are used.

i'm sure there are lots of threads about this topic too...

Pants: Don't worry about it, no one I know does and they make epic Matt's. If you really are that picky then, get another pair of jeans, or jean material and rip it into little strips and attatch them to the main pair.

Shirts: People use both colors regularly, if you've got the red hair, use the black and white, or if you've got the brown hair, the red/black one. But I've also seen great Matt's that have red hair with red/black shirt and brown hair with black/white shirt. I've also seen good brown haired ones with purple/black and red haired ones with red/white. So it all depends. He never offically had red hair, that was fandom that made that. His offical colors are the brown hair with red/black, but I see red hair with black/white more often.

Meh, when it comes down to the lines on the jeans...its just personal preference/me being nitpicky.

And thanks with the color help. I think the wig will be more of a red color than brown (Sort of like copper), I plan to use the black and white shirt since they are easier to find then black and red. Again, thanks for the help!

I understand what you mean about being nit picky. I'm the same way when it comes down to detail. The only way I can think of to achieve the look would be to deconstruct the pants and put them back together in strips, though I don't know if that is the best option for you since you say you are rather new to sewing.

Oh, they have a tutorial on deviant. Uhh... Just type in "Matt pants tutorial" and it should pop up. They're kinda a bitch to make and really don't matter 85% of the time, but it's good to be accurate. :'3

Anyway, they gives an EXCELLENT tutorial.

The anime shows that he's got the brown hair and the red/black shirt... It might be a bit late but hope that helps!
