I'm planning on a Izanagi persona cosplay from P4, but the only part of the cosplay that is kind of bothering me is the mask. Is there anyone who has some experience with this kind of accessory that could give me tips or pointers? I've included a pic of the character.

I was thinking possibly flexible plastic, glued together in layers? I also had a suggestion of Cardstock.

Anyone experienced with using either of these materials?

I'm excited to see that someone else is cosplaying an acutal persona from P4. I'm going to cosplay as Yamato Takera (Naoto's ultimate persona). And of course I'm also having some helmet problems.

Several people have recommended wonderflex to me, and there are a lot of tutorials and FAQs about that around the internet. That's what I plan to use. There's also a cardboard helmet tutorial (http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=97106) that looked pretty promising.

Thanks for the info about the Wonderflex, it looks like my best bet.

Also: Yamato Takeru! I hope you pull it off well! I expect pics! xD

I think wonderflex is your best option, but I might suggest a paper based base. I make all my masks out of parcel tape to start with, this gives you a way of actually forming it to your face rather than having to experiment painfully with the plastic.
