@_@ any suggestions on how to make a J-Rock version of an anime costume that would still be recognizable? i'm supposed to make three like this but i want people to still know who we are...

what do you think about an idea like this? do many do it? o.o; i usually end up at cons with people that arent into J-Rock so i can't look at all the purdy costumes ;_;

Turn plain black material into vinyl or PVC, turn one belt into 5, add tons of makeup, and tall boots.

Funny, when I do actually cosplay from an anime, everybody thinks it's a j-rock costume anyway...

Why do ya go to cons where people aren't into j-rock though? Come to some where there are some of us. ^_-

Anyway...I think as long as you stay in the spirit of your original character, you can change the 'job class'...as long as you have the noticable, distinctive elements, anybody can be VKed out. (I'm planning a little something simliar next season, so I appreciate how fun this can be. It's like going Amano-style and free-form like that.)
