My friends and I are wanting to do a Gundam cosplay...we've been looking everywhere for materials and stuff but we're having a ton of trouble... We keep finding stuff thats cheap and looks it or stuff that looks awesome but is way out of our price range...Any help/advice/tutorials/tips would be greatly appreciated, Thanks ^_^

By "Gundam," I presuming you mean the mecha and not just the series. Mecha costumes tend to get very expensive. What is your price range? And you might look for tutorials in the Props section. I think they have tutorials on armor, which is probably a good place to start.

I tried making a Gundam cosplay one time, (key word being tried) it's a good costume to do cause barely anyone does them, but it's like that for a reason. It's really difficult to make one, mostly one that looks good.

If you want to do it cheap, pepakura pattern + cardboard + contact paper?

@SailorAnime-Yes I meant the mecha, sorry for not being more specific ^_^"...The 4 in Celestial Being from Gundam 00 season 1 (Kyrios, Virtue, Exia, and Dynames) ...Ummm, well we fully expected these costumes to be expensive, but since we're making 4 we'd like to find the most inexpensive way to do it and still have them look good..I think we may have solved our problem actually...we found something called EVA foam that may work out well...and its inexpensive

@chris-chan-yeah i bet it is very difficult..we're all kinda perfectionists too so it's going to take us forever..lol

@ChilmarkGryphon- I've actually found some really good ones made out of carboard, so we may try this first ^_^
