View Full Version : Stuffed Frying Pan

So my friend will be cosplaying Hungary from Hetalia for Nan Desu Kan this September. We were thinking that it would pretty much amazing to make a Frying Pan plushie instead of using you know, a really one.
I.E. she would actually be able to hit our Prussia without doing any real damage. (joking joking :3)

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how to go about this. We're not exactly sure how to make the actually pan part. Does anyone have any ideas we could use? Or does anyone know where to get a pattern of this or somethin?

Thanks in advance! :3

I has idearz. (translate: I have an idea)

Get a real frying pan handle, then shape the rest of the frying pan via cardboard, hot glue, and mod podge. (To color, paint with preferred color(s) then gloss over with a glaze, clear enamel or mod podge)

Yes I know it's not plushie, but you can make a frying pan that will hurt significantly less.

I'd probably use a mix of fabric, stuffing and craft foam? The fabric and stuffing for the "plushie" look and the craft foam to keep it stiff in the places it needs to be (the pan part and the edges).

Though if you're just going for a con safe prop, it might be easier just to make the whole thing out of craft foam, paperclay and acrylic paint ^_^.

Why not try and use one of those fabric bowls? The ones you get the webbing for at the fabric store? I don't think they have perfectly round ones, but maybe you can alter it?
