I have no idea where I might find a good price on styrofoam borads from making cosplay props. I need help! I live in the Spokane, WA area and I don't have a lot of money, but any help will do!

Go to home depot or lowe's. 4 x 8 sheets usually cost around $7-9 dollars a sheet. But these two places generally have thicker sheets, like 1 inch or half-inch thick sheets only. Craft stores also sell foamboard in varying thicknesses. The thicker and larger the sheet, the more expensive in general. Craft stores only sell smaller sheets, usually 36 by 48 inch sheets, though. And craft stores tend to be more expensive in the long run, compared to home depot or lowes. But they offer more thickness varieties sometimes.

TBH, I have seen stores like michaels sell stuff that was literally 'straight out of the dollar store'. I could go to Dollarama and get foam sheets, equivalent size for 10% of the cost at 'some-random-overpriced-craft-store'. So, I would avoid craft stores for things that can be found elsewhere.
As mentioned above, Home depot is usually resource for stuff such as this. The only thing I can say is find a store that has lots of sales or coupons that can be used on anything in store, styrofoam in my experience has added up to a lot the more you need it.

I agree with the guy above. I go to the dollar store where they sell them for $1 and at other places I've gone have been more.
