Yes, i am serious. I need a wig (and an outfit) for ash ketchem (i don't know how to spell his last name.)
I'm completely new to this, so i have no wig references.
I don't think the outfit would be too hard, but if you have ideas for that then please friggin tell me.
Please help me!

Well, since ash usually hides his hair under a hat, you'd really only have to define his bangs and whatnot, under the cap.

Is this a long term, or short term cosplay?
If long term, search around cosworx, amphigory, or ebay.com for wigs.
you'd have to be going for a wig that goes down to about your jawline, and trim a little off to give it some shape before you style it. I've no idea if they make pre-styled wigs for ash, or you can commission someone to style it for you on here.

If short term, go the same route, but probably only look on amphigory and cosworx, because their wigs seem to be on the cheaper side.

As for the cosplay, you could either make it yourself, or use thrift stores to find peices that you can edit, to save some time and money.

I would recommend getting a Punky (https://www.cosworx.com/product.php?productid=16459&cat=2471&page=1) from Cosworx (https://www.cosworx.com/home.php) and styling that. But if you don't want to style a wig you could get a Scruffy (https://www.cosworx.com/product.php?productid=26258&cat=2471&page=1) and not style it at all, but it wouldn't have the spikes that Ash does.
For a costume, I've heard nothing but good reveiws from CosplayMagic (http://www.cosplaymagic.com/) and they have an Ash (http://www.cosplaymagic.com/poashkeco.html) costume. Though I havent personally bought from there, I am planning to. You could also check The Commissioner Reveiw Thread (http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=105758) to find a different place to buy from.

I hope I helped! :)

Amazing pattern: Butterick 5034
That's what I'm gonna use, anyway. :3

I second the punky in black, styled with the cap on.
