I'm not sure if that's possible.
But I have these pair of red letter shoes that I would like to be black for a certain cosplay O.o
Is that possible? and if it is, how?

Oh o.o
do those work?

It think I heard somewhere that either floral paint(I have no clue what it even is....) or a mix of acrylic and fabric paint work well on shoes. But, I would be tempted to sand the shoes a little befroe spraying just to give the paint more grip.

You can paint directly on leather with some fabric paints. I've used the lumiere paint by Jacquard, and it worked perfectly. It says that you need to heat set it, but I just left it in the sun for a while and so far the gold hasn't come off, even when I scratched at it.

You can get it at Joann's, and it's five bucks for a little tub, which will last a -long- time.

there's also the basic Jacquard series paints, but if you use that heat-setting is absolutely necessary, though I don't know how well that would work with a shoe...

I see.
I'll give that a try ^__^
Thanks so much!
Does the Jacquard lumiere come in black?

No problem, glad I could help ^^

I'm not sure if the lumiere series comes in black, so that's why I suggested the basic paints, too. I was only looking for gold.

Black Angelus Leather paint is your best bet.
