Okay, I'm going to be cosplaying Suigintou at Anime Expo (which is in July next year, I know, but I'm starting early in case of major mishaps). And I have two questions.

One: I have no freaking clue how to go about the wings. I was origionally thinking a wire construction that I would glue the feathers onto, but now I'm not sure if that'd be too heavy/bendable.

Two: Where on earth can I find realistic hot pink colored contacts? All the ones I've seen are only one color all the way around and therefore, look fake. If I can't find them, how can I make some?

Thanks!

I used this tutorial found on the tutorials list to make my wings:
http://www.paper-wings.org/tutorials/wings/wings.html

It worked wonderfully. It was extremely light and very durable. I just didn't organize the feathers to resemble her ruffly feathers. Though sadly I don't have any pictures of it at the moment. ^^'

i wouldn't suggest making contacts. that's just begging for an eye infection.

i don't know of any other sites but if that's not exactly what you wanted, i believe they also do customs.

Thank you both, so much.
The contacts are GORGEOUS, exactly the color I needed, and without the leafy design that was on the other ones I could find (they were too dark anyway). Do I need a perecription to buy those? There's nothing wrong with my vision, I just don't know how to order the right size.

And for the wings: YAY, I have 95% of that at home. Minus the feathers and tubing. I'm probably just going to make my feathers all fluffy, since that's how her wings are from what I can see.

Again: Thank you both, very much.

you do need a prescription no matter what. just pop into your optometrist's office. also they can tell you what you need to know about contacts such has putting them on, taking them off, how to preserve them, etc.

Here's a good FAQ for colored contact lenses :3
