Heya!! =^_^=

OK! so, i need help with armor in this Night Elf costume, link:

I can get all the purple fabric and i know where to get ears and i have a wig i can use, but the problem is the armor. I'm not sure what to do about the gold parts of the armor, could i use wonderflex and spray it gold and somehow make it stay to the purple fabric? or is there somthing else i could use to make it look real and not just a bunch of fabric? :sulk:

If anyone could help me out i would reallllly appreciate it!!
thank you so much!

craft foam is very useful and cheaper then wonderflex, but wonderflex is very good material for armor like it.

I would suggest using vinyl. If you can't find gold you can paint it.

I'd suggest craft foam as well... if you're only talking about the raised gold details - it's going to be cheaper than wonderflex and you'll have an easier time working with it (to get a smooth finish).

About sticking it to your purple fabric - if your fabric is NOT something like pleather or vinyl - then you can use hotglue and it's going to work fine. If your purple fabric is pleather of vinyl, then I suggest using "velcro glue"... it's a glue sold in fabric store. It's going to stick to vinyl, but it will eventually fall off - but you'll mostly likely get 1 or 2 convention out of the suit... until you have to reglue your details to your armor.
