For the past week and a half I've been trying to put together a Rika [Digimon Tamers] costume for an upcoming cosplay (August 29th) I'll just show you my checklist so you can see what I'm missing:

Medium length red/auburn wig [X]
Darker Wash/ Indigo Jeans [X]
Brown studded belt w/ rectangular buckle [X]
White & aqua 3/4 sleeve raglan [X]
Brown card pouch w/ belt loop [ ]
2 brown belts [ ] (plan on buying some at thrift store)
Teal or dark blue fabric [ ] (getting at sewing/art supply store)
Yellow stretch fabric [ ] (getting at sewing/art supply store)
2 red sport wristbands [ ]
Red hi-top sneakers [ ]
Digimon Cards [ ] (plan on making some fake prop ones]
Digimon Tamers Digivice (blue and white) [ ]

I'm not too concerned with the 2 brown belts, the fabrics, or the cards. I'm planning on making the cards and then I'm going to get the belts at a thrift store and I'm going to the art supply/sewing stores soon. I'm also not too concerned with the card holder because I'm pretty sure I can find something close enough, that I could modify if needed.

As for the wristbands, I've been looking for some without a logo on them, and that has been hard. I went to my local sports store and all the red ones had logos embroidered on them. I also looked at Hottopic's website and they didn't have any red ones without a logo either. So if you know where I can find some, let me know!

Regarding the sneakers, I already looked into converse, but they are so expensive! I've been looking all over for a cheap pair of high top sneakers and have found none. I was thinking that when I go to the thrift store I could look, but there is no guarantee I will find any. Does anyone know of a generic version of converse that might have red hi-tops (I already checked Payless and Sears for Airwalks) Since I'm going to some art supply and sewing stores, does anyone have any tips for how I could modify an existing pair of sneakers to make them look like Rika's red ones?

Ok so the last thing is the Digivice. They are super rare, hard to come by. There is one exactly like the one I need currently on eBay but its like 60 bucks and I'm on a tight budget! I tried to find a replica/prop alternative, but to no avail. At this point I think its too late to commission one from a prop artist, since the cosplay is a week and a half away. I don't trust my clay sculpting skills enough to make one of my own... but I might have to!
If you know of where I can get a cheap digivice or a digivice replica, let me know asap!

Thanks to anyone who read this whole thing... lol.

Thanks for your help! I really appreciate you taking the time to look. lol One place I actually didn't look is Amazon.com and I just found one for 1$ a piece. The one on eBay says it would be shipping from Hong Kong so I am not too sure it would come in time. I guess I will just order the Amazon.com one and hope for the best (hope that it comes in time!) lol I could pay extra for shipping, but I'd hate to pay more for shipping than the actual product! But sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do... right?

For the hi-top sneakers, look for a pair of Chuck Taylor's. They average around $40 though, so don't expect to pay cheap- the lowest price I've seen for a pair was $30 and they're near impossible to find used :/

Also, can you post a reference picture so we know exactly what to look for?
