Kay, so I have a tiny bit of experience cosplaying, but I've never done anything very complicated. I recently decided to try something a little more challenging and cosplay Megpoid. I can handle the clothes, but I'm running into problems with the goggles and headset. This page (http://www.ssw.co.jp/products/vocal/megpoid/i/index.html) has the official design and this one (http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/7163/4414713.jpg) has a fairly accurate close-up of the headset. So anywho-

For the goggles- The design is pretty unusual, so I'm planning to make these from scratch. I've got some transparent plastic in the right shape for the lenses, but I'm not sure of the best way to color it. I've tried using markers, but they're streaky and leave little clear flecks. Also, what would be the best way to make the band part? I really don't know what I could use aside from sculpey, which would be heavy and probably not look very good.

For the headset- This I have no clue what to do. I would try modifying a normal headset, but I really don't have the money for it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can't say on the all your challenges with this build but as far as coloring your clear lenses, you could use this...

Krylon Stained Glass Color

I may take some digging on google to find the right color for your needs.

Hope this helps.
