Okay so I really need some help. I am making a pyramid head cosplay and I haven't even started the great knife yet! I'm not sure how ot go about making it. So if one of you loverly people could enlighten me that ould be fantastic. I need one that can be made relatively quickly. Matsuricon '09 is in three days!

In the future, please edit your post rather than double-posting ;)

I think the great knife could probably be made either using extruded polystyrene foam or clever use of cardboard- however, considering you only have 3 days, the cardboard option might be better...

I feel like there's a tutorial somewhere for something like this, let me see if I can find it.

why not search? i know this question has been asked a lot. maybe even look up tutorials for zabuza's sword, cloud's buster sword, or ichigo's zangetsu. they're all sort of similar to what you're going for.

This is the only cardboard tutorial I could find, but you might be able to adapt it to your needs. Good luck.
