My friend and I will be cosplaying Pain and Konan from Naruto Shippuuden at NYAF, so this thread was really created to help the both of us.

As you can see, both characters have facial piercings, (Though I'm lucky that Konan only has one! D: ) and I was curious if anyone had any ideas on how to attach them to our skin. Obviously we're not going to go out and get real piercings, and we'd like to avoid krazy gluing something to our faces. XD Anyone know of any skin-safe adhesives, or have experience with using them?

Pros-aide (prosthetic adhesive) or liquid latex would hold on a fake piercing. Spirit gum would possibly work too, if the ball was pretty light.

for the nose piercings, I would suggest using super glue to glue them to a piece of thin plastic, then use spirit gum to get that piece of plastic to stick to your nose. You could then apply a little bit of makeup to make the plastic totally invisable.

For side of-the-nose, ear and labet piercings, modifying a magnetic stud (or if you're real lucky, you might find them just the right way premade) may yield some good results. It can be a touch weird to wear them on your lips, though (they tend to move around a bit when you talk and hold quite tight, so it can feel like they're pinching your lip)

for the ears, you can buy some fakes to stay on.
If you don't want to buy them, you can use a thin strip of foil rolled up and rounded out.
