Howdy there guys

Sorry if there's already stuff about this, I didn't see anything in the first few pages and nothing about it on the Common Questions thread:crylaugh:

So I'm making Nero from Devil May Cry and looking at his jacket, he has very specific buttons.I went to a button.bead shop where I live and that have nothing similar and no tops in the second hand stores have something similiar. So that means I'm going to have to mold them

Would any of you have any tips/tutorials on button molding?

I would greatly appreciate it.

My friend found her triangle buttons on ebay.

However, if you wish to make them, I'd say go with super sculpy (not regular sculpy as it crumbles.). Simply roll out a strip of the clay in the thickness you want the buttons to be, and cut it in to a strip (straight edges) of how wide across you want the buttons to be. Then go to town cutting out the triangles by creating angles that meet at the edge like so /\/\/\/\/ and poke two holes in to the center of each.

Then bake, and paint.

Reference pics? It'd help us if we knew what the buttons you're trying to make actually look like.
