Helllloooo.

I'm currently planning a Left 4 dead Witch cosplay. Since I would imagine that it would be difficult to have to paint my body every time of wearing it, I thought I would try a body suit.
I was thinking about this (http://www.amazon.com/Sleeve-Bodystocking-Crotch-Bodysuit-Colors/dp/B002KP1AO8/ref=pd_sbs_a_5) body suit in "nude". I would most likely spray paint it with a pale white color, followed by the grays, blacks, and all that good stuff.

Would this idea work?

EDIT: Crappy ref. (http://machouse.mhvt.net/mac/mac_game/left_4_dead/left_4_dead_witch_startled.jpg)

Hm, I wouldn't see too much of a problem with that. Would have to be a little careful with the coloring, since spraying with acrylic based paints on any non-expanded fabric will stretch the color and reveal the "nude" shade. Maybe if you did light coats of paint it would work, but it would probably fade on the curves.

I would try water-based paints or inks, while using some cardboard to stretch the fabric to ensure even coverage no matter the stretch. The fabric might not appear too realistic (elbows tend to crinkle) but it would be much easier to put on and take off. I write based off my experience with Francis, since the tattoos I made are similar materials to the leotard you linked to.

Lastly, have you thought of checking the L4D forum? we have quite a bit of useful info there, even ideas for claws and proper undergarments.

Hello! Thanks for your response.

I was actually thinking that I would wear the suit while I had someone spray paint it, to avoid it from doing what you talked about. :)

And I will definitely check out the L4D forum.

Thanks for your help!

Try floral spray rather than regular spray paint. Works better on fabrics.
