Okay, I am going back and forth over wigs for my Ariel cosplay. I'd like to do a New Look wig, because I already know that the Henna-type Red color is perfect - but it's not set in stone.

I've seen some nice Ariels with the Linda style:

BUT...I feel like it's not long enough. Because, really, this is a lot of hair: http://images1.fanpop.com/images/photos/1800000/Little-Mermaid-Screencap-the-little-mermaid-1874736-720-480.jpg.

So I'm currently considering these:

IDK. Suggestions? I'm getting too nitpicky for my own good. Oh, and yes I plan on wefting in the bangs :)

The Ashley 850 isn't long enough..its what I use for Belle and it comes to like a few inches past my shoulders

Theres this beautiful wig on ebay..this one http://cgi.ebay.com/40-BURGUNDY-RED-CURLY-WAVY-COSTUME-COSPLAY-PARTY-WIG_W0QQitemZ300385866507QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_CSA _MWA_Wigs_Extensions?hash=item45f064930b ..its the same one this cosplayer used for Giselle http://spwinkles.deviantart.com/art/Giselle-Wig-Test-150662535
I think I'm going to switch to this wig ^^

The Linda XXL sold here on cosworx is what I used and it has a lot of fiber..it needs a bit more for the bangs but you can always take some from the wig since its so full

Also if your looking for the cheaper route..this ariel cosplayer http://bakamiyu.deviantart.com/art/Ariel-146705223 got her wig at this place http://www.grimreapers.com/showproduct.aspx?productid=11240&affiliateid=10054 ..real lucky quality find

Awesome! Thanks.

That eBay wig is soooo gorgeous - and the price isn't bad, either. Have you seen any other pics of the color? It looks pretty darned good. I'm excited to see one with large curls at the end - that's what I had really wanted in the first place :)

Also, DANG that last wig is decent considering the price.

Great finds, thanks!

The eBay wig is GORGEOUS!! I totally want one for Giselle! It would be great for Ariel if it is bright enough- it may be, my monitor displays it as rather dark though. Let us know what it looks like!!

ZOMG. I got the wig already! It is beauuuutiful. The color is more saturated than the picture, which is what I was counting on. It's surprisingly lightweight for such a full/long wig. Very silky. Pretty much exactly as pictured.

When I stop being lazy I will post a pic.

POST PICTURES!! We must see it! XD I also cannot believe you already got it!

If it is certainly brighter than the images show, that wig may go on my shopping list...lol

I'd love to see too. I may be ordering the same wig from the company in a variety of colors. It looks so pretty but I like to hear people's opinions first xD

Mmmkay, I tried to post these last night, but it didn't work? Hope it doesn't pop up as a double post.

All of the pics are artificial light, the last 2 are with flash. As for length, the wig comes to the very top of my bum and I'm about 5'2". Sorry I couldn't model it for you, but I was being lazy/gross, so I made my hubby hold the wig head while I snapped photos. XD

Hope these help!

It is completely beautiful! Unfortunately I will have to wait on buying this (if I do) because I am going to buy one to serve two costumes. I will be buying mine off eBay from CosplayAnimeWigs- the "Dark Red Hi-Temp Long Bang Straight Cosplay Wig 740J7. I like it because it is heat-stylable and relatively cheap! lol Ward me away if any of you have had bad experiences with them though.

Dernier Cri- you should definitely hop on over to the Disney Cosplay thread!!

I know I am a little late to the game in this thread, but I was wondering how this wig worked out for you because it is so beautiful! I think I may want to get the same one, but I was wondering if there where any complications with it or anything...
