I'm planning on cosplaying Crimsn Viper from Street Fighter IV at A-kon 21 coming up. I'm planning on making a hair piece that will clip to my head, but to do that, I need wefts!

Okay, so I looked through the stickies and whatnot, but I really need info on is making wefts! I'm familiar with the sewing method-- I'm just not very good with a sewing machine. I keep hearing that there's a 'No-sew method', but haven't found really anything about it. @.@

So my questions are:

What is the no-sew method?
Is it reliable?
Is it the best start to making my hair piece?

Thanks in advance guys~ <3

This is the silicon way which is to messy for me. (I do the sewing method)

You can also use hot glue in small strips to melt the wig fiber together.

Awesome~ I remember when trying to use Silicone in my Jessie Wig (which turned into a disastor), I had the worst luck with it. xD But thank ya so much~ :3

Somewhere I saw a tutorial where a person used steam-a-seam/iron hem tape and strips of fabric to make wefts. They are bulkier than other methods but if bulk isn't a problem, this may be a non-messy solution.

I personally haven't tried this tutorial but it also looks pretty quick. It uses bonding tape and a liquid adhesive.

Oh, thank you very much. This might be perfect for what I need (bulky would prolly be nice).
