Hi guys!
Ok, so I'm working on a Nightcrawler costume from X-men based on his Uncanny X-men outfit.

I've figured out everything, except his feet. I've seen people do his feet flat mostly, but what I want to go for is more of the "toe-running animal" type feet (almost like dinosaur or bird feet):

I've thought of doing a clear heel, but I think that would look odd. It's mostly the structure of the feet that will hold my weight that's the problem. Any opinions or experience in this??

If that's what your looking for he has a link to a page describing how it was done.

Thanks so much, those are amazing and perfect! They look a little clunky, but I'm sure that can be solved by thinning down the wood.

This is a tutorial for satyr hooves (http://transform.to/~mwbard/stuff/thehorsetailor/indexhoofstilts.htm), but you might find the detailed stilt schematics useful. :) Good luck!
