I want to cosplay Dante from the first Devil May Cry, but I can't find a trench coat pattern anywhere. Please help!!! :waaaah:
If it helps any: I'm 6' 2'' tall, male, 260 pounds, 2x shirt, 44 waist 32 length pants, size 14 shoes.
If you can help me do the full costume that would be awesome!:)
I'm only as novice cosplayer and this will be my first time "making" a costume:o
Once again: PLEASE HELP!!!!! (Needs to be done by Nekocon 2010 (November))

The closest or easiest pattern you'll will probably want to use is the Matrix trenchcoat pattern. Dante's coat is similar. You can modify this pattern to complete the look of Dante's coat. I haven't an idea to look for trenchcoat patterns themselves. Unless you hit a Joann's Fabric store or a Michael's gift/art supply store. Find the fabric section and see if there are any patterns for sale. Ask the employees for help, explaining what you want. Bring a couple of reference pics along and that will help you explain your project better.
