ok, i was wondering if anyone here has ever worked with chain mail before. because i'm going to TRY to cosplay Link which ill be combinding TP Link and OOT Link (In short. i'll have my ocarina on me.XD) this year for youmacon2010 and his outfit as we know is the green tunic, a gold chainmail shirt and then the white farm outfit under the gold chain mail shirt.
on that note. i'm looking for someone who could send me a few patterns for some of the cosplays i'm making. rather by a messager or a link on here. i need patterns for

Link

Trunks

Master Aisa

An Org XIII cloak

which for link i'm looking for someone who may have a sheild they're willing to part with. maybe because its old or they have another one. if anyone has one please let me know. because i dont think i'll beable to buy one in time for Youmacon.

You're better served posting this in the Marketplace.

Also, if you had usedd the search function you would have found the links you need. There are series specific forums for all of those characters. I don't know who Aisa is. Use the search function.

putting this in the market section would HURT the cause. because i'm not exactly asking to buy something (Yet) i'm more of asking for patterns if people have them for the following. i see how you would think that seeming that i am looking to buy a sheild form someone if they have one they wouldnt care partting with. but right now i'm looking to see who has worked with chain mail if anyone and who can provide patterns for the said outfits

and for FE Freak AKA "Robert"

i'm still looking for Sayain armor blue prints as well. last time i asked. someone gave me exactly what i DIDNT want. the armor blueprint was for "Soft Armor" which is what i'm not looking for. i want it to be hard. and almost like the real think. so i'm looking for an easy pastlic that is hard and can be molded to fit a body type.

As far as what tigress means, I think. Is the fact that some people don't throw out free prints for the work they have done. Some would like to have a little payment to help out those in need of prints. Also, try browsing around for tutorials. There are some out there that involve chain mail, link's weapons/props, and maybe a few patterns that are for public display.

Look into Wonderflex then. It's a thermoplastic that can be molded into just about any shape out there. Also, if you want some basis for your armor, search Amethyst Angel and tutorials on Yahoo/Google and peruse her site until you find it.

just dont go out in the rain! also, wearing something durable under chain mail helps to protect against injury.
