hmm...might not be in the right forum but meh..
i'm a very limited cosplayer, because I can't sew at all...and i'm broke...

and i was just thinking..whether i could fuse parts of my previous cosplays into a new one...
for example:

if serah farron was a vocaloid..sumthing like that

?? ehh...

guess i should learn how to sew :(

Tias Is going to be very hard to pull off with pre made pieces. You would have to have a very strong idea of what you want it to look like otherwise it is going to look random and clash-ey.

I think it's doable, but you'd have to adjust the pieces to fit. For instance, bright colours seem to be the focus of vocaloids, and Serah's character has a lot of softer colours in her clothes. When you mentioned the two together, I actually thought of a red version of Hatsune Miku (since Serah's clothes kind of look like hers!) So maybe try doing that?
Hope this helps :)

I dunno, then peeps will ask you what you're trying to do, one or the other. Careful merging stuff, it tends to get the "bastardize" stamp. Try it for yourself, if good then go with it, but be picky!

well, if you do something like that, i think because she has a pink, red plaid going on, you could do a red plaid hatsune miku styled serah. :) and i honestly like your idea, i might do something like this now that you mention it.

I can't wait to see how it all comes together when you finish!
For the skirt, I was thinking definitely make the skirt Serah's with the lace and the gold chain, but make the top so that it mimics the design of Hatsune Miku but with Serah's colour scheme.

Good luck!
