So, I've ALWAYS loved Spyro, he's my childhood personified [ dragonified?? ], and I want to do a para-human version of him. I don't have any sketches but I can upload them later if I get something I really like, but I'm wondering what people think of this idea?? I'm not a mascot wearing kind of gal, but I really want to pay tribute to one of my favorite characters.

I'd like it to be identifiable but respectful at the same time, not one of those; "Oh God ... Look what they did to that character ... :/"

What would you think if you saw it??

I'm a Spyro freak myself and I've actually done a humanoid version of him before. Everyone absolutely loved it and recognized it instantly. The design was fairly simple too! ^.^

Oh. MY. GOSH!

I...I really wanna do something like that now, but I won't because that'd be stealing...I'll...I'll go back to designing a more humanoid version of Hunter even though I would personally never be able to wear it...

I will love anyone who cosplays Spyro forever! So yes, Kudrel, I freakin' love you! That costume is so cute and so in keeping with the original game.

Thanks guys! ^.^

I'm sure there is other ways you could go about doing something similar. Maybe a purple wig with a horned headband? I always look back on it and think of what I could of done differently or added to make it better (a tail maybe?) So it's really about thinking out of the box!

Also, I seriously wouldn't mind if others did something similar to mine, cause really, it would still be unique since someone else made it. :P In fact, if anyone wants help on how I made mine, I'd be happy to share! ^.^

I'm thinking of maybe trying my hand at making a quadsuit in the future...THAT would be cool. But I might see if I can commision parts of one, or possiblt find someone local that I can get to actually help me with it, if that makes any sense.

I'm actually working on a Spyro costume! My plans are for a slightly more human version. I'll post pictures when I finish and have some taken.
