has anyone seen the awesome human designs?

I would upload pictures but i'm at school right now.

I haven't really been interested in Bleach lately, however, when I saw the designs I knew I had to cosplay!

I'm thinking either Tobiume or Shirayuki.

Yup, the human forms are amazing! I started working on Wabisuke in March and I ended up taking him to A-kon. There was a huge zanpakuto group there, and everyone's cosplays were amazing:

Here's just a few that I saw at Akon but there definitely were more: http://www.cosplay.com/photo/2582774/

My Wabisuke definitely needs more work though.

Tobiume is so cute!! I haven't seen anyone cosplay her yet. ^_^

@cogetas - as see I quit going to the a-kon bleach gatherings because some narutards invaded our photoshoot one day and broke my ishida armor... so yeah :(

@ beni - How strange, I've also had bad experiences with Narutards :eeek: Once at Afest I went to a Naruto shoot to take pictures of my sister and some crazy Saruka literally tackled me to the ground. All because she hated Bleach...

@ yukari - the wig looks amazing @_@ And I can't wait to see the tail once you have it finished!!

ya that's why I don't go to bleach or naruto gatherings anymore. I went to a smaller con as Naruto......BAD mistake. but I wouldn't mind cosplaying bleach again for these types of costumes. I'll have to try and put it in my schedule. maybe for aftest next year. that'd be a fun group to have!

I been wanting to do one of their designs. my choice would be SenbonZakura since i haven't seen anyone cosplay him.

to Yukari Kaiba- thats one awesome collar you made for Snakey.

to benihime- I see your going to Anime Matsuri, I am too. If any chance your going as any character from bleach, you should go for the photoshoot. Im going as Uryuu Ishida Hueco Mundo Outfit. With his ginrei kojaku and all. I just order some EL wire, so i have time to work on it.

And as for the Narutards, im sorry that happen to both of you. But not all Naruto cosplayers are like that, it seems even Narutards attack their own just because they dont like that character, for instance Sasuke.

I know all naruto cosplayers are like that because i've cosplayed naurto before.

I am but I don't think i'll have time/money to make it before then since i'll be focusing on working on my prince sakura

@yamibakura - I have been working on a Senbonzakura cos for about 3 months. It is definitely a great costume if you are a jack of all trades type and like to work with lots of different materials and techniques to bring a character to life. I just put the last coat of varnish on the mask and I am so excited with how it turned out!

I am a subbed anime purist myself, but I have a feeling that the zanpakuto spirits cosplays will become much more popular once the dubs catch up!

not necessarily... i cosplayed as an image that was like in two panels of the manga and once it got to the anime, hardly anyone cosplayed it *shrugs*

thanks ^^ was a lot of fun to make actually. And now that my mom's sewing machine pedal has been replaced (haven't been able to work on anything since it died a couple months ago), I'll finally be able to finish up the costume =D so I'm hoping to have some progress to share within the next couple of weeks ^^

I just started watching Zanpaktou-arc (I've read only manga earlier), just because I'm about to cosplay Haineko :3 It was just a random idea that I got, since she's got red hair... 8> And because my friend is going to do Katen Kyokotsu's smaller half, I decided to join her as Zanpaktou spirit.

But I'm wondering.. Is there anyone that could give some tips/advice for her pants? o__o I'm not quite sure how to make them baggy and round enough.. ^^"

It was so cool to see the zanpakuto with their "people" last year at A-Kon. There was a photoshoot in the evening just for them.

Hello~

I'm currently working on a Sode no Shirayuki cosplay. I'm about 95% finished, I just need to cut/style the wig, and make a few alterations to her furisode:

http://www.cosplay.com/photo/2831284/
http://www.cosplay.com/photo/2831282/

I plan on adding some hidden snaps to the inside of her furisode to make it fit nicer, so it will take on that almost mermaid-gown shape that it has.

Because the kimono pools around her feet, it makes it very difficult to walk in, and I end up tripping over my own feet like a klutz. The zori I wear with it don't really help either, haha. Short of having to hike the hem up and carry it around, does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, does anyone know how her obiage (green sash) is tied? The only tutorials I can find are for a square knot.

Oh! We almost have the exact same pose! :P Scary.

Your wig looks lovely. Such a sweet colour.
And personally I think your breasts look slightly too... well, big. Haineko's got the hips rather than the breasts (though they're supposed to be rather large as well).
The fabric on your arms and leg looks rather loose, too, but that might just be the fluff :)

Cute costume. If your picture hasn't been flipped, though, one of us has managed to mirror-flip the costume. Probably me.
*Searches google*
Yeah, it was me. Damn.

Oh, and I love your tail. Is it just sewn like that, or do you have invisible threads to hold it in that bent position?

hehe ya i know the breast are pretty huge but i tried to go with the most accurate as possible in the series her breast are a bit bigger than her head so i tried to go to scale with that
The legs and arms are skin tight can make them any tighter just the fur that makes them look lose
as for the tail its filled with cotton and has a metal wire in it so i can bend it to what ever shape i want at the end of the tail there is a nub of 4 layers of cardboard with elastic strips just put the tail into the hole i have in the shorts then put a belt thru the elastic strips belt it in place bam i has a tail thats going nowhere :D

On a normal human being they aren't proportionate, though. I'd think you should go for shape, rather than size, and it'll look better (and more like Haineko, since while she is certainly well equipped, it doesn't look as grotesque as that size would on a normal non-anime person) :bigtu:

Oh, I see! Good idea, I might have to look into something like that. I didn't like my floppy tail. I wanted to be able to swish it around in pictures

I really wanna do Kujaku...but...Girly-fied. I can cut and dye the wig myself, that won't be a problem...what I know I will be cursing about is, I want to get a sweetheart corset, and put feathers on it, and also I will have to hand make the boots. That's really all the problems I foresee. I need to start to work on it, since I only have...4 and a half months to get it done before the next convention I go to.

Does being one of Orihime's Faeries count as a Zanpaktou? I cosplayed as Lily (the blue swimsuit and pink haired one) at NDK 2011.

I'm planning on cosplaying Hyorinmaru. I have the outfit and the wig taken care of but I'm stuck on his arms and feet since they have they have the ice dragon claws and feet. A friend suggested that I make a plastic mold of my hands and feet and then sculpt and paint them like Hyorinmaru's. I want the hands to be able to hold and grab things or to be able to be taken off easily. The feet obviously have to be bale to be walked on. I also want to be able to take them off easy and put it on again for future use. If anyone can help please let me know! There's no rush for this so I have plenty of time.

I was planning to do a Katen Kyokotsu cosplay but I still haven't gotten to it
