Okay I've read a couple of threads and I have a question.

I'm wanting to know if wonderflex can be smoothed out and Painted nicely if I choose to use it. I want to tuck my arm into it (probably set it under my bust and have my sister help fit it) so I will have my free sleeve. I Would love to use some of the others, but I've seen shiny ones (which I don't want it to turn out Shiny I would prefer a dull color) and I've got to be careful using Fiberglass and chemicals since my mother has a few birds. and I don't have the money atm to get the Kendo armor.

Thanks a head of time

Final product with regards to shine is always a matter of what you put on it.
The wonderflex it self does have a bit of a texture to it, but it can be combated with a simple layer of paper mache and a bit of sand paper.

You almost always want to use a final sealer on your props to avoid damage to the paint. A nice matte coat will get rid of any glossy surfaces.
