I took these shots of my sister in her Dante costume a while go an I'm looking for a little critique :) Nothing too harsh, but don't sugarcoat, please ^^;

Picture 1: angle is good as well as the placement of the subject in the picture. I like the composition as well. Overall a really nice photo

Picture 2: Your a little out of focus and the background is too in focus. but other than that, I dont see much wrong.

Picture 3: Photo has a blue tinge to it. prolly due to changing light, white balancing would have helped eliminate the odd coloring.

1: nicely executed
2: I understand what you were trying to go for but the angle is too awkard and distorts the body. also it's blurry. never ever post blurry or over/underexposed pictures ;)
3: the only issue I have is that the hand and the face are too elongated - one should be bigger and produce some bokeh. There needs to be a focus for the photo. if the face is distorted because you're putting a style on it (like b&w or whatnot), it's okay.

(note how I am empahsizing the hands over the face, yet both are not distorted, yet I am giving the perception I am shooting up at her.)

1) I like the low angle and the sky background. The pose seems heroic. The highlights are blown out a bit.

2)The angle seems too low, and her chin being up makes it even more so. The Dutch Tilt is so extreme, it takes away from the composition.

3)I like the distortion of the hand coming close to the lens. The pose tells a story.

I would experiment with some different angle. While the low angle works in the first picture, it almost seems too low for the second.

1. Nice angles.

2. Kinda blurry.
